*when you get to that point in this chapter, the reason I chose the combine DC & Marvel comic references of Batman & Ironman is cause they're the only two superheroes I know really well, that don't have an powers & are really just everyday people with a lot of money that decided to do some good in their worlds-I am aware that there are other heroes out there in each universe that don't have actual powers, but they're the two I know the best & are the first that came to mind*
*Just a heads up, this one is likely gonna be significantly shorter than the last one*
Setting: still the Cooper house, Christmas Day...

     When Bay passed the large family Christmas was never the same, when MeeMaw passed it became almost unbearable to spend it all together as a large family. Now that Mary's passed, the big family Christmas isn't happening this year, each family is divided up & staying at their own houses this year. The Koothrappalis & Wolowitzs going between visiting each of the individual family family, while the Hofstetters do visit the others, they many stay at Sheldon's place where Holly & their grandtwins are. The entire family being together on Christmas started when Bay first woke up & it just became a family tradition that grew as the family did, but practically died when Bay did. With each loss, like with some families, the holidays became more & more bittersweet times of the year for each Cooper, Kripke, Conners-Sparks, Wolowitz, Koothrapali, & Hofstetter.

"How long are y'all gonna keep moppin bout just cause Del moved?" Cali asks Dallas annoyed, "Huh Dal?"

"Leave me alone," he mutters

"Come on," she sighs out, "it's Christmas," she says as she sits down next to him on his bed in the boys room, "and yer spendin it bein in yer room bein depressin-over a gal that barely even knows y'all existed."

     Delilah Burgess, one of Cali's best friends & the girl he felt something for the moment he first saw her; every time he saw her in school, he would see this glow around her, angels singing & her hair flying backwards like one would see in a movie or a tv show. It pissed him off whenever he saw her with Asher, the way he treated her, & he got physical with her & left her crying, when she broke up with him after school-he witnessed it when he was football & cheerleading practices ended. He ran over & stepped in when he saw it going on, he got into a fist fight with Asher & both were suspended from school that day & by the time they got back a couple days later-is when Dallas learned Delilah's family moved to New York. No goodbye, no thanks for saving me-though most Texan girls he knew wouldn't thank a fella for their help-not right away anyways, they'd tell them to butt out & that they didn't need or ask for their help first. But each day he'd wake up thinking that he couldn't wait to go to school just cause he'd get to see her, he kept his distance like Cali asked so that she could have her friend-but he only grew more & more depressed since she moved...

"Ugh!" Cali groans, "fine," she mutters, "look," she sighs out, "Del asked me ta tell you somethin before she left, but I aven't cause I was annoyed  and bein selfish..."

"..." he says nothing, doesn't even look at her

"She asked me ta tell ya that she said thanks fer bein 'er Iron-bat-man or whatever," she tells him, "she ain't know too much bout superheroes, but she knows you were 'ers that day..."

"Thanks," he says quietly

"If this bugs ya so much," she tells him as she rubs his shoulder, "then why not find a way ta express it, so ya can start movin on from it a bit..." she suggests, "I mean, didn't ya wanna follow the music or somethin after goin pro?" She asks him, "why not start puttin that guitar ta some use?"
