Day 9

For the past two days, the pack has been ignoring me.

The only person who would talk to me is the Luna. She's been kind to me lately. 

Seh keeps asking me questions about my life. She flinches every time I mention my parents. 

Today, she sends me in her office again. She wants to talk about my mate. 

"How long have you been together?" she asked. 

"We've never really been together." 

She was writing what I said down on a piece of paper. 

"His name?"

"Nate Evenns." 

She stopped right there. She took off her glasses adn looked at me in the eye. 

"He is your mate?" 

"Unfortunately." 

"I thought his mate was Nichole." 

"No, she isn't, Yeah, he is with her all the time but they're not mates." 

"Why did he leave you?" 

"Because I became preganant." 

The Luna stood up and kneeled in front of me. 

"Have you talked about the baby to him?" she asked, seriously. 

"No, he said he doesn't care about be or the baby. So I don't tell im anything about it." 

"Tavern, know that I will be there for the birth, okay?" 

I nodded. 

Honestly, I didn't want her to be at the delivery. It's my child, not her's. 

"How is your brither?" 

"Koda? He's fine."

"Is he taking care of you you?" 

"Yeah, he's an awesome brother." 

"Uh,,, you can leave sweetheart."

When I went to open the door, the Alpha stood there, looking furious. 

"Who are you?" he asked. 

I flinched at his harsh voice. 

"Hon, this is Tavern." the Luna told him. 

He looked at me. 

"I've never seen you before," he told me. 

His eyes seemed to be glued to my belly. 

"Who's the father?" 

"Nate." 

The Alpha then punched the wall. 

"Tom! Why did you do that?" the Luna asked him. 

"You whore! You were never Nate's mate! And now you're pregnant with his child?!" he yelled. 

I flinched. 

"Tavern, you better leave," the Luna told me. 

I quickly got out of the room and and went into the kitchen.

I cried for a good while until I felt arms wrap around me. 

"What happened, Tav?" Koda asked me. 

I sniffled. "The Alpha called me a whore because I'm pregnant with Nate's kid." 

My brother stiffened. 

"I'll kill him," he whispered.

"No you're not, it's my fault he called me that."

Koda didn't say anything after that. He walked away from me. 

I was left alone.
