Alone and Unwanted (No longer writing)

Month 7 Day 14

Malena and I never get to eat with the pack. As a family. We have to eat in the middle of the night. I hate that. So much.

Tonight I gave her some leftover spaghetti from today's dinner. Malena happily ate it while I watched.

After what had happened, no one in the pack seems to notice me anymore. Nobody talks to me anymore. Not even Koda or Emmalee.

I don't think I'll ever get used to this silence. I might as well leave.

I could, if I wanted to. But I have nothing. No money, food, shelter. Nothing.

I didn't notice that Malena fell asleep in her high chair. I picked her up and led her to my room. I laid her down in her crib and tucked her in. I kissed her. The thing I sleep on now is the floor. It is very  uncomfortable and I suggest no one try it.

Clothes, you ask? I still have some but they are never clean. As of Malena's clothes, she has everything. That's the way it's supposed to be.

I woke up to a loud banging on the door and it woke up Malena too. She started crying and I quickly picked her up. I shushed her as I opened the door.

I started shaking as I saw who was at the door.

There was the Alpha, the Luna and two policemen. I saw someone behind them and saw Rennard in handcuffs. What?

"Can I help all of you?" I asked with my head down.

"Yes, Tavern, we have suprisingly found you unguilty. Rennard here, admitted to us that he stole the money and he framed you," The Alpha said to me.

Wow.

Oh my gosh.

I don't know what to say.

I wanted to cry and scream and jump all over the room.

I was snapped back to reality when the policemen said," Sorry that this had to happen to you ma'am. We apologize."

"No," the Luna said. "It's Rennard who needs to apologize."

Rennard looked at me with a guilty look. He opened his mouth to say something but he hesitated. "I'm sorry."

Wow. That's new. You never hear that in the pack house. No one ever apologizes to me.

"Since this has happened, we will return everything we took from you." the Luna said to me.

The Alpha seemed to look pained. As if he didn't want me to be innocent.

I smile and nod and all of them leave the room.

This is the first time I felt joy......happiness.

It's just overwhelming.

I look down at Malena and saw that she was falling asleep.  I put her down in her crib and kiss her.

I can finally say this,

I'm.....

Happy.

Well since all of y'all are yelling at me that 'oh, this book is so depressing.' And 'make her life happy' Okay I get it. Y'all want her to have a good life. But understand that not everyone has a good life. Think of the people that are actually getting abused today and they have no one. That's how Tavern is and yes I understand it's a story and you can easily change this story. But you can't change your life so easily. Please stop telling me what to do. This story is only for entertainment and if you can't see it, then stop reading it. Oh! And my book yesterday was #261 and today #302 I know it's not great but at least I have a number. Anyway, Enjoy!
