Alone and Unwanted (No longer writing)

Month 6 Day 9

For the past few days, Nate has been taking care of Malena. That's new. But I'm glad that he's doing that.

Today, the whole pack has been acting weird. And I honestly don't know why.

The Luna told me to make a huge dinner today. I asked why but she wouldn't tell me.

As I was making the huge dinner, I heard a knock on the door.

I answered it and saw a man and a woman at the door.

"May I help you?" I asked politely.

"Yes, we are here to help the Adelfa pack," the man said.

"Alright, come in," I said.

They followed me inside and saw a bunch more people follow them. Damn! They have a huge pack.

"What's your name, dear?" the woman asked me.

"Tavern."

"What a great name. I'm Durrine, Alpha female of the Ramson pack."

Huh. I heard of that pack.

"And this is my husband and the Alpha, Travin."

I smile at him and excuse myself when the Alpha and Luna came in the room.

I went back to the kitchen and finished preparing the dinner.

I felt a presence behind me.

I turn around and get a punch in the face.

I can't even get a look of the person, they kick me to the floor and punch me in the stomach. I see blonde hair and I knew it was Rennard.

I let him beat me up. Fighting will do nothing.

"Hey!" I heard someone yell.

I feel Rennard's body move away from mine.

I struggle to get up and I saw this stranger beating up Rennard.

I gasp and get up. I feel someone help me up and see a woman with tan skin and short hair.

"Are you okay?" she asked me.

I only nod.

She smiles and look at the two guys fighting.

"Taylor! Leave him alone!" she yelled at him.

The man stopped fighting Rennard and went to us.

"Are you hurt?" he asked me.

I nodded. My face hurt like hell. My ribs didn't really hurt this time.

"Come on, let's take you to a doctor."

"No! I'm fine. I can deal with it," I said.

"No, you are hurt."

They dragged me to Sylvia.

"Who this time?" she asked.

"Rennard."

She sighed heavily and looked at the people.

"Hello Macy and Taylor, how was your trip?" Sylvia asked them.

"Fine, thank you," the girl, Macy said.

I gulped as the silence afterwards became awkward.

"Why did you save me?" I asked the man Taylor.

"Because a woman like you doesn't deserve to be beat by a man. I hate that," he said.

I smiled. "Thank you."

"What's your name?" Macy asked me.

"Tavern."

"That's a special name. Your parents must have really put a lot of thought into that name."

I put a face of shame and disappointment. I don't even know who my real parents are.

"I'm sorry," she said.

"No, your okay."

She smiled at me.

Huh. These people from that pack actually helped me.
