"Xyren!" Hindi ko mapigilang sigawan siya after knowing what he did.
"Hey, Aya!" He squirmed.
He's still wearing his corduroy pants and fitted white t-shirt that showcased his sexiness. Ang hot! Totoo naman, ang init ng panahon ngayon.
"Was it true?" I asked. Say no, Xyren, please.
"What true?" He beamed, curving his lips upward. Pa-inosente pa siya alam ko namang sandamakmak na porn na ang napanood niya.
"Na ikaw ang dahilan kung bakit wala ako ni isang manliligaw?" His mouth curled into an 'o'. I knew it!
Sinamaan ko ito ng tingin, "Xyren naman, nasa tamang edad na'ko para magka-boyfriend!" His face had darkened. Halatang hindi niya nagustuhan ang sinabi ko. I hate him when he's like this.
"Who told you that?" He's just twenty but when he talked, it was intimidating. Parang apoy na nakakatakot hawakan.
"I'm not telling you, Xyren. Alam kong makikipag-away ka na naman kapag sinabi ko sa'yo. And, don't you even try na ibahin ang topic, I'm the one who's asking you here," I spouted.
He sighed in defeat. His tensed shoulders were relaxed now. Good!
"I just did it for your sake," he explained. Lumapit ito sa'kin kaya napaatras ako.
My eyes widened, "for my sake? God, Xyren! Buong akala ko, ako na ang pinakapakit sa mundo dahil wala man lang nagtatangkang manligaw sa'kin. Tao lang ako, I want to be loved!"
Hindi maiwasang tumingin ng mga studyante sa gawi namin. Shit, this is scandalous. Hinila ko siya para lumipat kami ng lugar kung sa'n mas private.
"Am I not enough, Aya? Kulang pa ba yung pagmamahal na ibinibigay ko sa'yo? Ang tagal na kitang nililigawan," he chirped. I was confused. I don't understand him.
"What? Kailan pa kita pinayagan na mangligaw? Besides, you never asked me," saad ko.
He scratched his head, "why are you so stupid? Alam kong matalino kang tao pero bakit pagdating sa ganitong bagay, ang tanga mo? Plus, hindi ko kailangan ng permission mo para manligaw, what if you said no? Ganon nalang 'yon? Do you think I'll stop there? Kilala mo ako, Aya."
I gritted my teeth when I heard the word 'tanga'. "What did you just say, Xyren?"
Nagtitimpi akong lumapit sa kanya at matamang tinitigan ang mala dagat niyang mga mata. Don't drown, Aya. Don't.
"Ngayon naman nabingi kana?" Pang-aasar nito.
I raised my hand, supposed to slap him pero naiwan lang ito sa ere. I can't hurt him.
"Do it," He commanded. Matalim na ang mga ibinibigay niyang tingin sa'kin. I lowered my hand and bit my lower lip.
He leaned his head, "I love you, Aya, that's why I threatened those men who'll try to come near you and court you," he mouthed. Holy Molly! Bakit ang tanga ko't hindi 'yon napansin.
"You were too naive to realize that," he added. Hindi naman niya pinagduduldulan sa mukha ko ang pagka-tanga ko ano?
I pursed my lips, "I-I don't know what to say." Nakaka-speechless naman kasi yung confession niya.
Namewang ito, "that's it? You won't say anything to me?" He clamored.
Wala talaga sa vocabulary niya ang salitang patience. Hinahanap ko pa ang dila ko para magsalita, bigla kasi itong naglaho.
"I want to hear your answer, Aya." He took a step to close our distance. His warm breath almost kissed me.
Dumako ang bibig niya sa tenga ko, "do you feel the same way?"
I closed my eyes trying to remember our old days. Since elementary kasama ko na siya kaya naman hindi ko alam kung anong nararamdaman ko. We were to closed and too comfortable with each other.
But, I know that there's a part of me na nasasaktan whenever he's too clingy with other girls. Sa kanya lang din ako tumatakbo kapag may problema. I don't want him to leave me.
"I love you too, Xyren," I finally said it!
He's shocked and so am I. My tongue did not inform me of that. Hindi ko alam na may plano pala ang dila ko. Jeez!
He cupped my face and without hesitation, he kissed me. I almost tripped, flabbergasted from what he did. Good thing, he's supporting my back. I held his nape that made our kiss deepen.
He stopped for a while to take a breath. I caught his eyes, shining in astonishment. Gracious, it was my first kiss. Nang makabawi na sa hangin, muli niya akong hinalikan.
This time, his hands began to roam against my flesh, leaving it ticklish. When he unbuttoned my blouse, it hit me. Nasa campus pa kami! I held both of his shoulders to push him away.
"Why?" He's slightly irritated. Uy, nabitin.
"Not here, Xyren. Baka may mag-video sa'tin at magkaroon pa tayo ng scandal. You don't want to make my papa mad naman, di'ba?" Napakamot ito sa ulo which I found cute.
"Fine, but... we will continue it next time, with or without your father's permission," he assured me. What the hell?
"Xyren!" I warned him pero tiwanan niya lang ako. This man is so impossible!
He beamed, "I'm not joking, Aya, I mean it. I need to mark you." I jolted backward. Mark me? Ano ako bagay?
"Just in case, may magtangkang agawin ka sa'kin," he added. He's serious!
"No, Xyren. We're too young for that."
"What happened to, 'nasa tamang edad na'ko' line?" He tried to mimic my voice. Naniningkit ang mata niyang tumitig sa'kin.
"Please, Aya," he pleaded. Matatanggihan ko ba siya? Of course not.
"Fine." I'll think about it.
Present Time
Nagsisimula ng bumalik ang mga alaala ko. Xyren did not failed to startle me. I couldn't believed na ginawa niya 'yon!
Nag-init na naman ang mukha ko nang maalala ang first kissed namin. Goodness! Paano pala kung may nakakita sa'min n'on? Sana naman wala.
Biglang nag-flash sa isip ko the day when I lost my virginity. God! Sa lahat ng lugar, sa kitchen pa talaga? What are we thinking? Ganon ba kami kasabik sa isa't-isa?
"Hey," his soft voice lingered through me. I felt his hands snake around my waist.
"Masakit pa ba ang ulo mo?" He asked worriedly.
Umiling ako sa kanya. He knew na nanunumbalik na ang memories ko. Pero sa tuwing nangyayari 'yon, parang binibiyak ang ulo ko.
"'Wag na lang kaya bumalik ang alaala mo? I don't want to see you hurting," he suggested.
At first, he was excited pero simula kaninang umaga, nang makita niya kung gaano ako nahirapan, he changed his mind. Speed 'no?
"Xyren, it's okay. I want to remember everything between us. Titiisin ko nalang," I turned and held his face. Until now, hindi ko maiwasang malunod sa mga mata niya. They were beautiful yet dangerous.
"Are you sure?" I nodded saka ipinagdikit ang mga ilong namin. Nararamdaman ko ang paghinga nito.
Avan, I think it's time for me to move forward without disregarding you and our past, of course.
