Muli kong narinig ang malalakas na tawa ni Victor at Levi sa di kalayuan. I can't believe that they got me fooled.

Hawak nila ang tiyan na lumapit sa'kin. "You should have seen your face!" Levi commented habang pinupunasan ang luha dahil sa pagtawa.

I rolled my eyes at them bago matalim na tinitigan si Xyren. He immediately raised both of his arms saka umiling. "I did not know they would do that," depensa nito.

"It's true. It was our idea," Victor admitted.

Humalukipkip ako at muling sinulyapan ang dalawa, "we need to talk."

Mukhang naintindihan na nila ang gusto kong iparating dahil kaagad silang umalis sa harapan namin.

"So," I breathed. "Where the hell have you been, Xyren?"

Tipid itong ngumiti bago lumapit, "I told you, I left to better myself."

"I know. I heard you," saad ko. "Pero ang tinatanong ko ay saan? Hindi bakit."

"Rehabilitation," he whispered as he bowed down. "I've done a lot of nasty things, Aya. Ayoko nang dagdagan pa and I needed to change."

Lumapit ito papalapit sa'kin. He held my hand and kissed it. "I'm sorry," he muttered.

"Bakit hindi ka man lang nagsabi sa'kin?" I asked habang pinipigilan ulit na umiyak. "Maiintindihan ko naman e," I added.

"I'm not fond of saying goodbye. I don't like it," he replied before he caressed my face. "Kasi feeling ko tuluyan kang mawawala sa'kin."

I gulped, "at saan naman ako pupunta?"

Malamlam ang mga mata niyang tumitig sa'kin. "To someone who's better than me. Who can love and not hurt you the way I did," he said, weakly.

"Oh, Xyren. I don't want better," I murmured as I closed our distance. "I only want you."

"Good to hear that," aniya bago ako mabilis na hinalikan. "Now, you will finally become my wife."

"Whoa!" I exclaimed. "Too quick, honey. What if I said no?"

He grinned, "you are not listening to me, baby. I said you will be my wife. It is not a question, it is a statement."

Sumulyap ito sa likuran ko, "looks like they are already here."

Kunot noo ko siyang tinitigan bago tuluyang lingunin ang kung ano mang itinuturo niya. Jico is bringing a priest. Habang ang pinsan ko naman ay kasama si Neon, tito Navel, at magulang ni Xyren.

"We are getting married now?" I asked in disbelief.

He nodded, "yes. Right now and right here."
