Xyren and I were silently eating. Tila wala siyang balak basagin ang katahimikan na namamagitan sa'min. Even I, takot na magsalita. He didn't seem mad anyway. In fact, maganda ang mood niya ngayong umaga. A wide smile was plastered on his face.

"Woah, Woah, Woah! Bakit ang tahimik niyo? Did you two fight?" The masculine voice of Levi engulfed the whole dining area.

Xyren put down his utensils and gaze at him, "What are you doing here, Lev?" He asked him sedately. Levi marched towards us as he made himself feel at home.

He sat in beside Xyren and took a slice of apple. "I decided to visit you and say hi," he cheerfully said as he smiled widely. Kita na ang dimples sa mukha niya. Hindi ko alam kung inaasar ba niya si Xyren or what.

Xyren stood up without saying a word. What's with him? "You did what you have to do, now go." He's being an asshole right now kaya naman pinanlakihan ko siya ng mata. He sighed and scratched his head.

I faced Levi and gave him an apologetic look. I heard Xyren stomp his feet as he went upstairs. God, this is not good.

Levi was still eating kaya naman hindi ko siya pwedeng iwan nalang dito. "Be patient with him. I know he's not always at his best but he's trying," Levi said out of nowhere. Naiintindihan ko ang gusto niyang iparating. He's telling me not to give up on Xyren.

"Don't worry, I will not leave him," I assured him and he just shrugged. Okay, what was that? Kunot noo ko siyang tinignan, waiting for him to speak up.

He put down his fork and finished what he's eating. "Aya, the worst is yet to come," He said grimly and left.

LEVI, what are you trying to say? Hanggang ngayon iniisip ko pa rin ang mga salitang binitawan niya. I can't even focus on what I'm doing. Xyren tasked me to check the incoming meetings with the investors, pero anong ginagawa ko?

I saw a hand waving almost at my face. "Aya, are you okay?" I gazed at Xyren and saw him lowered his glasses.

I smiled weakly, "I'm good. Do you want something to eat? Bibili ako sa baba," pag-iiba ko ng usapan.

"Sure," Tipid niyang sagot bago balikan ang ginagawa niya.

Hindi ko alam kung ano ang uunahin kong isipin. 'Yung alam na ba ni Xyren ang tungkol kay Avan o ang mga katagang binitawan ni Levi? Ugh, this is driving me crazy!

I easily get frustrated when it comes to this. I suddenly missed Neon, he's still with Tita. Mukhang nawili siya ng husto ng kapatid ko.

Whispers welcomed me as I stepped out from his office. Well, hindi na rin ako nagtataka since karamihan sa mga trabahador dito, babae. They still wonder kung ano ba ako ni Xyren. It's not like, that I care pero nakakasawa na rin minsan.

I saw a familiar face when I reached the cafeteria of this building. "Clovis!" I called out as I rushed towards him.

"Hey, Ana! You're working here?" Hindi makapaniwalang tanong niya. Ilang taon na rin kaming hindi nagkita.

"Yes, actually secretary ako dito," medyo naiilang na tugon ko. Nakita ko ang pagaalinlangan sa mukha niya na agad din namang nawala. Gano'n na ba 'ko kahirap paniwalaan?

Kumuha kami ng mauupuan before we continued talking. He's still the same, makwento pa rin ito. Although, may ilangan ng konti sa pagitan namin.

"I thought you'll buy us something to eat. Why are you chit-chatting with this guy, Aya?" His voice was sonorous as he approached us from the back.
