"SO, LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT. You went through all this extra crap, to make money for someone who pretty much forgot you existed??" I sigh, in annoyance. "Yes. And I don't care if he's forgotten about me, so long as he's alive. And thanks to your weak ass, it wasn't really much trouble at all." I smirk. He folds his arms, "Guess I had that one coming."
"Where the hell are we anyway? Last time I checked it was almost three in the morning- but it's obviously around noon other wise it wouldn't be so damn bright out here."
"I took us back a couple days- I'm discovering newer abilities everyday. After I died this has been happening alot-"
"Wait..you..died???" I purse my lips nodding profusely. I take a step forward- as we proceed waiting in line at the airport. Honestly I was thankful to have some company. Kenai would've been nice too, accept for the fact that he's been a little over protective lately.
"Yeah, but that's okay. It's something to do with my bloodline. In order to come back I had to give up my humanity though, which really sucked. I had alot of plans for my future."
He tilts his head to the side, probably trying to let my statement sink in properly. "So you're like- a vampire or something??" I chuckled at that.
"That's exactly what I thought. But no. I am immortal, but I'm not a vampire. And I think since I'm immortal maybe my body is developing powers I probably couldn't handle had I been human. Still, I would trade it back in a heartbeat."
He quirks his eyebrow, "But, you've saved people like this- right??"
"I could've saved people even with my human side. I don't think that would've ever changed. At least, not unless I'd never met sensei."
Yet again, we take a step forward.
"So whose this lucky friend of yours?? If you don't mind me asking...""Sorry but..I sort of...do mind...I don't really trust you just yet."
He chuckles at that, shrugging me off. "Yeah, I don't blame you. Guess that's a good call on your end. Honestly even I don't trust me anymore."
"In a way, I can relate to that." I respond quite solemnly.
"What's your real name?? I'm running out of nicknames for you." I smirk up at him teasingly.
He chuckles in response, "Aww, I'm touched wolfie; I thought you hated me." I tilt my head pursing my lips at that, "I don't hate you. I hate myself."
"Why..?? Why would you....say something like that??" He frowns down at me wearily.
"Well, because its actually my fault everythings happening like this. My fault for not jumping in front of a car while I had the chance as a pup- My fault for messing up my mom's life. Sensei's life. I'm always lying, and telling myself it's because I wanna protect people but..."
"I'm really just being selfish-"
"-You're really just being selfish."We stare at each other intently. I wasn't expecting that- the awkwardness of saying something at the same time as him didn't exactly taint the conversation like it did back with Katsuki. Still though, it was pretty awkward. Not gonna lie there.
"Keigo takami." He stated bluntly, before pursing his lips into a smirk; rubbing his neck sheepishly. "-That's my real name...."
I giggled. "You already know me, so...?"
"Do you have a number?? You know in case these weird Lycan things appear again." I found myself blushing at that, but I pull my phone out of my bra, with a sigh.
