"ALRIGHT, SO WE'RE GONNA
need most of your feathers for this. I need four of them to mark the surrounding area of the building. Do you think you can spare enough of them to fly me up there in time before the timer sets off? I know your wing's still a little bit sore from the fight..."

He nods. "I'm fine, I can do it." We stood ontop of the building. There was alot of commotion going on, I could feel the tension in the air and see heroes from the distance fighting what appeared to be a very strong villain.

His power. I sensed it from here.

It was unlike anything I've ever felt before.

As he spreads his feathers, he glances back at me. "Are you gonna be able to pull this off without...you know?"

I felt my chest. Katsuki was definetely nearby. I could feel him. I could smell him. I could even taste the vanilla wafting in the air. To say it starved me would be an understatement.

"You still with me?" He waves his hand around causing me to jolt out of my trance. "Yeah! I-I can do this. This is nothing."

"Your plan?" He presses quirking his eyebrows. "Oh right. Well you're not gonna like this but in order to captivate the explosion I'm going to create something that's similar to a force-field. I needed the feathers to mark the ground so that I could analyse the cordinates from in the air."

"I'm pretty sure your portals suck in, not project. So how are you planning on making a forcefield if it's just going to suck everything up into some other area in time or space or whatever?"

"I'm overlapping them, which is going to cause a gentle rift in this general area, in the form of a bubble. Nothing will be able to get out, but will be able to fall in. So the explosion won't get out, but if anyone falls in--"

"They pretty much get thrown somewhere into some alternate universe. Think I get it now." He wraps his arms around my waste, readying to take flight. "You gonna be alright this time?" He quirks his eyebrows.

I take a deep breath, mentally preparing myself for what was about to happen. "Yep, but you're gonna have to let go of me at some point. Last time I checked your wings could not hold me at eight feet tall, so I'm almost positive you'll shatter your back trying to carry me at maximum power ya old fart." I narrowed my eyes at him.

"One year, older than you. Remember? So If I'm an old fart than so are you." He pointed out.

"Eh, I might be here in a year. Ha." I grin, as we neared our stop.

We didn't really need to make eyecontact to talk to each other at this point.

"You ready for this?" He presses. I roll my eyes giggling. "You keep asking me that--"

He rolls his eyes right back. "Well it's important to be prepared."

"Bleck, you sound like my dad you ancient oaf."

"Ha, Ha." He retorted. "Got any more old man jokes before I throw you into this mess?"

I shake my head. "Nope. Not really. Catch you on the flip-side doofus."

With that I shove myself out of his grasp. My ears twitch as he grunted. To relieve his look of unease I saluted him, before pretty much swan diving into 'shapeshifting mode'.

I hadn't gone fifty percent in a bit. It wade me feel sort of lethargic; the days Sensei used to spend training me--my days training with Gang Orca. It wasn't my most powerful form, but I could take on these new found abilities with an iron claw.

Dozens of voices whisper, reverberating around my skull. Memories flash before my eyes. From the moment I woke up in my mother's warm paws to the fuzzy moments I had with my...dad. Not my trash father, but the teacher. The infamous Eraserhead. I chuckled dryly, tears spilling from my eyes.
