Kuroo x F!Reader

"For the last time, Tetsu," (Y/n) sighed. "I am not going to flash you over facetime!" She hollered at her phone.

Kuroo chuckled. "Awww, c'mon. Why not?" He pouted.

Even though the 2 had been dating since highschool, (Y/n) did not feel comfortable doing that over video.

"Next time I see you in person," She suggested and added on her own wink.

Kuroo turned his head away from the camera. "That's not gonna be till Christmas break."

A frown found its way onto (Y/n)'s lips. The last time she saw him in person was back in early June and it was now the end of August. The thing was that (Y/n) was studying abroad in the United States... for the past 3 years.

The couple were currently in a long distance relationship. There were a few rough patches where they thought it would really be it for them. But, they always managed to pull through.

What Kuroo didn't know is that (Y/n) had been missing him more than normal, so ever since her last visit she's been saving up for a trip back home. She wanted it to be a surprise and it was really hard keeping this from him.

"Well, I'll make sure to call you everyday next week. We both have a break, so we can talk more," She tried to cheer her boyfriend up.

"Yeah, but it would be better if you were able to come home," He glanced over his shoulder to look back at his phone. He managed to catch a glimpse of his girlfriend smiling. "What are you smiling about?"

(Y/n)'s mind panicked a bit and hoped he wasn't catching on. She really wanted this to be a surprise. "I wasn't smiling," She played innocent.

Kuroo turned back around. "Sure you weren't," He smirked.

The two of them continued to talk before it got late and Kuroo had to go to bed. Another thing that sucked. The time difference. They were practically on opposite schedules. While (Y/n) was just waking up, Kuroo was about to go to bed.

The rest of the week could not have gone by any slower. (Y/n) felt as if the clock was just moving backwards. But it was finally the end of the week and her flight was early in the morning so she would arrive about the time Kuroo was waking up. The time change always messed her up so she would have to make sure to sleep on the plane. She wanted to spend as much time with Kuroo as possible.

After a very long plane ride. (Y/n) had finally arrived back in her hometown. It felt so good to be back. But the more important thing right now was heading to Kuroo's apartment. A long car ride later, she had arrived at Kuroo's house.

She pulled out the copy of his key she owned and opened the door. Throwing her stuff to the side, promising herself to take care of it later. (Y/n) wandered through her boyfriend's apartment and was shocked at how clean he had managed to keep it.

She headed to his bedroom and she quietly cracked the door open. It was still 7 in the morning, so Kuroo was still sleeping. For a while, she stayed by the door, gazing at her boyfriend. He never wore a shirt to bed and the covers were all over the place. His natural bed head seemed even more messy.

(Y/n) finally decided to crawl into the bed, curling up to Kuroo's side. With all the movement and the fact that Kuroo lived alone, he woke up in a frenzy, looking at what caused him to wake up.

(Y/n) sheepishly looked up at him. "Hey."

Kuroo, now fully awake after realizing who it was, pulled his girlfriend into his arms. "(Y/n)," He mumbled into her hair. He pulled back to make sure it was really her. "What are you doing here?"

(Y/n) slightly pulled back and climbed onto Kuroo's lap. "I missed you," She smiled as she played with the hairs at the base of his neck.

Kuroo looked at their suggestive position and smirked. "It's early in the morning, but we could do a quickie."

(Y/n) groaned and threw herself onto Kuroo's chest, knocking them both down. "No, stupid. I don't wanna have sex," She peeked at Kuroo's face and added, "right now at least."

She curled up onto his chest and buried her face into his neck, breathing in his familiar scent. Kuroo wrapped his arms around her and let out a sigh of content. "I'm glad you came." He whispered to her.

(Y/n) laughed. "That's what she said." Kuroo pinched her butt. "Owie. That wasn't nice."

Kuroo laughed. "Sorry, couldn't help myself."

"You can have me all you want in the morning, but right now I'm very tired and it's really early. Go back to bed," She ordered him. She felt his chest rumble as he laughed again.

"Alright."

(Y/n) fell asleep pretty quickly, but Kuroo was too excited to fall asleep now. How could he when the love of his life was right in front of him?
