I'll Be There (KIRIBAKU)

   "Remind me why I'm here?" asked Kirishima, crossing his arms, and eyeing the suitcase behind them.

   "You lost a bet," smiled Ashido. "And today is the first day of the summer holidays," she added.

   "We aren't in school anymore," he said, grumbling under his breath lightly.

   "Let's pretend. Let's be young and free," she chuckled. "Anyway, you lost the bet, so you have no choice in the matter," she grinned, elbowing him to try and stop his pouting.

   He hadn't forgotten the bet, he never could now, but he wished he wasn't so gullible.

   "Kyouka hasn't been home since this afternoon, I wonder where she could be," whined Kaminari, while clutching his controller in his hand.

   "She's with Yaomomo," said Sero, still choosing his Mario Kart character.

   "But is she? What if Yaomomo is stealing my wife!" exclaimed Kaminari, exaggerating his words with gestures that almost resulted in a punch to Kirishima's shoulder.

   "Watch it, dude," he scolded lightly, before choosing Wario.

   "You guys are dumb," stated Ashido.

   "As if you aren't," said Kaminari, sighing in relief as the screen changed to allow them to choose their kart. "But back to Kyouka- Yaomomo isn't stealing my wife! I have complete trust in the both of them, and Kyouka married me for a reason!"

   "I really can't see why she did," teased Ashido with a deadpan.

   "You guys are mean," pouted Kaminari, the first ready to finally race.

   "We are just looking out for the both of you. They said they were having tea anyway."

   After they all choose their karts, Kaminari switches between the cups, and finally decided on one. Kirishima frowned as he saw it was his least favourite one, but he doesn't like Mario Kart in general so he really can't be bothered to complain.

   The first race went smoothly. Kaminari ended up first with Sero just behind him in second place. Ashido ended up in fifth place while Kirishima ended up ninth. None of them were very surprised by the first race's results, so they quickly moved on to the second race of the cup.

   This time, Sero ended up first, and surprisingly, Kaminari ended up third and Ashido in fourth.

   "What the fuck! Why are you second?" he exclaimed, shaking Kirishima's shoulders, almost knocking their heads together.

   "Stop shaking- I guess I'm just better than you," grinned Kirishima, proudly taking second place. He is always used to being in the last possible place, so being second is a big achievement for him.

   Ashido and Sero stayed quiet, but they were both thinking the same. Their first place possibility might be at risk with Kirishima in the way. But they let him enjoy his first victory, even if it is just second place.

   "I bet I'll be first on the next race," said Kirishima, thinking that he finally improved after such a long time of losing to his friends.

   "We'll see about that," said Kaminari, beginning to be more competitive.

   The third race went just as Kirishima expected. He ended up first, with his three friends all around fifth place. Kaminari almost screamed in frustration, and Sero was just as disappointed, but Ashido accepted her fate easily.
