The week was similar to the last one. Bakugou helped Kirishima improve on the figures they learned, and then they both practised the obstacle race during the afternoon. They both improved, and they both had fun, but Bakugou seemed to have different plans for Saturday.
"We're going on a ride," he said, after they both did a couple rounds of walking around the manège. "In the forest," he added. "It also might last longer than an hour," he shrugged.
"Huh. Is it a different trail from usual?" asked Kirishima.
"Yeah. It goes onto a trail that is also for other people," he shrugged. "We might come across some people just walking around, but it is mostly empty on a morning. Families do go around sometimes," he said.
"I'm looking forward to it!" he grinned.
"Meeting other people?" asked Bakugou, raising an eyebrow while he looked at Kirishima strangely.
"No- Well, yes- but no-! The new trail, I mean," he pouted.
"Sure, Shitty Hair," he chuckled. "Are you ready?" he asked, smiling lightly when he received a nod. "Let's go then," he said, giving Kirishima a grin.
"Yes!" he cheered not too loudly, following Bakugou out of the manège.
They took the same path as they usually take, but after perhaps fifteen minutes of the same scenery, Bakugou did a turn, and then they went on a path unfamiliar to Kirishima.
"Wow, the flowers over there are beautiful," he smiled. "It looks like a carpet," he said.
"Wild flowers," he nodded. "A lot of them grow around here," he said. "There is an even bigger patch of them further ahead."
"Really? I'm getting more and more excited!" he grinned.
He didn't see Bakugou's smile, but he did hear his satisfied huff. "It's going to be even better," he promised him.
"I almost can't wait!"
Prince snorted at that, probably agreeing with Kirishima.
They walked for a while, before finally coming across a long wide path, just after another carpet of wild flowers.
"Want to trot for a while?" asked Bakugou, glancing back at Kirishima.
"Hm, sure!" he nodded, letting Prince follow King's movements on his own.
They trotted for maybe fifty metres, before slowing down when they came across a family of three walking on the side of the path.
"Good morning," they greeted politely, looking at them in awe.
Bakugou probably scowled a bit at that, but Kirishima brightened up.
"Good morning!" he greeted happily, nodding at them as an extra greeting.
Being in high spirits, Kirishima almost hummed to a random melody stuck in his head, before Bakugou interrupted his thoughts.
"So... what are your plans to become a professional boxer?" he asked, his voice a bit hesitant as he asked, but then also determined to have an answer.
"I'm not that sure, to be honest," he shrugged. "I'm mostly planning on asking Fourth Kind- ah, my coach during my boxing sessions - for help. My bro, Tetsutetsu, has him as manager, and I guess it is important to have a manager before going pro," he chuckled. "I'm planning on asking Fourth Kind to be my manager, and then after that he'll be able to sign me up to more amateur matches, and once I do maybe a hundred or more, then I'll be able to do a professional boxing match. You really can't just go into a professional match without having done an amateur one, so I'll have to do many of them. I've probably done more than two hundred in total, but the more the better," he grinned.
