Going back to live in the city was a change that Kirishima didn't welcome well. He didn't have anything to do other than laze around, try to find jobs to apply to, sleep, play games, and go to the gym. He did those daily, but he can't find any job that will suit him. Working at McDonalds suited him better than working in an office that pays him well. He should look for something that would give him a good salary, but he has hopes of having a dream job, and he doesn't know if that will happen any time soon since he can't even think about a job he dreams of doing. He sometimes wished society would go back to the prehistoric times, where there was no money, no job, just free time for survival, leisure, and eating and sleeping. They had true freedom back then, even if they were threatened daily to be killed by other predators.
Deciding to be productive after he woke up at five thirty on a Friday morning, unable to sleep, he went on a run. The only thing he can focus on for now is the taste of the cereal bar he quickly ate, and the sound of his music through his headphones. He can't hear his footsteps, and there are no cars around here this early in the morning. He passes by a twenty four hour coffee shop, and he sees it again when he went for another round. He eventually stopped by, and ordered a drink to sip while he walked back to his apartment.
Once he arrived there, he still had nothing to do, so he quickly got changed, and went to the gym. He made sure he had a change of clothes before he left, and then walked over to the gym. It was currently eight in the morning, and he still felt like he had just woken up. If the run didn't bring his spirits up, maybe doing his routine at the gym will. He entered the gym with a smile, and sent smiles to the staff, then making his way to the machines. He was about to start working out, when he noticed his friend in the corner of his eye.
"Holy- Satou?" he asked, glancing over at his friend, and grinning when they waved at each other. "How have you been? I mean, we saw each other two days ago, but still," he chuckled.
"I've been well," he nodded, putting his weights down. "My shift hour changed, so I'll be going to work in the afternoon," he smiled. "I think I'm really enjoying this morning off," he said.
"I'm glad you get some time off work," he said. "How long have you been here for?" he asked.
"Oh, I arrived just about... ten minutes ago," he smiled. "Wanna be workout buddies? Like usual?" he asked.
"Definitely!"
Kirishima and Satou usually worked out together when they had time, and since they are close friends, they have a lot of fun. Most of the time, Tetsutetsu also joins them since he also frequents the gym whenever he has time. He has a job though, so most of his mornings are taken, except for Saturdays since he managed to convince his boss that he can have the mornings off so he can take part in the boxing sessions.
They worked out for a couple hours, and ended just before midday. They both showered at the gym's showers, got changed, and then headed back to their apartment complex while talking and joking around.
"Hey, do you want to come over this evening for dinner? I feel like cooking a lot, so I might just invite everyone," said Satou, chuckling.
"Sure! What time?" he asked.
"Is eight good?"
"Yeah," he grinned. "See you at eight then," he said, waving as he went into his apartment. "Have a good afternoon at work, too!"
"Thank you!" grinned Satou, waving at they both went into their own apartments.
Kirishima sighed once he closed his door and took off his shoes. He dropped his bag on the floor, and then looked up, and blinked a couple time.
