When he wakes up, it is because he can hear yelling and neighing. His brain isn't fully awake though, so he can't process it well, but he feels like he can hear two horses.

'Huh? The fuck?' he thought, trying to pry his eyes open. He couldn't though, so he almost slumped back into sleep, until someone's hands grasped his shoulders, and began shaking him. He wouldn't have groaned, if it wasn't for his voice being completely hoarse and silent. He couldn't even whisper anything. Maybe he was too tired.

"Come on, Kirishima," mumbled someone. "Wake up!"

He sniffed a bit, and coughed a bit to try and get his voice back.

"Wha- You can't have a cold, it's summer, dumbass" they muttered.

Kirishima tried to open his eyes again, but he couldn't.

"Why did you just let King drag you here? King Explosion Murder is definitely going to get punished for this," they growled.

Kirishima would have chuckled if he could, but he felt himself smile slightly, at the same time that arms wrapped around them.

"Wake up, please," they sighed, "I can't carry you back," they said, probably frowning.

'This- this is Bakugou, right?' he thought, his arms weakly raising up, and then wrapping around the torso of whoever was hugging him. He's pretty sure it is Bakugou though.

"You- you're awake-! You fucker!" exclaimed Bakugou, startling Kirishima completely awake. "You absolute motherfucking dumbass!" he exclaimed, shaking Kirishima's shoulders.

He continued to exclaim a bunch of meaningless insults, but he immediately stopped when he accidentally knocked their foreheads together.

   "Ow- fuck!" he yelped.

"Ouch," grumbled Kirishima, sighing as he rubbed his forehead. He finally managed to look at Bakugou properly, and he couldn't help but be surprised as he finally took in Bakugou's appearance.

He had a sad pout, as he frowned and rubbed the area on his forehead that he hit himself with. There were weak eyebags under his eyes, which probably weren't just about a lack of sleep. There weren't only eyebags under his eyes, and if Kirishima looked closely, he could see what he thinks are dried up tears around his eyes, but not down his cheeks. He reached forward, gently holding Bakugou's cheek, and wiping his thumb under his eye, hoping to wipe some of the dried tears away.

"Sorry," he murmured, a soft smile on his lips as he took in Bakugou's expression. "I couldn't control King, and he just dragged me the whole way here. I couldn't stop him, and I couldn't even see anything," he sighed.

King snorted behind them, and the other horse here, Prince, probably snorted too. Bakugou snapped his head back, and glared at the two. Kirishima also glared, because he didn't ask to be dragged into the forest either. The horses snorted again.

"This is all their stupid horse plan," he said, thinking aloud. "Izuku told me to check here, so I took your dumb horse since he didn't seem worried at all, the damn little shit," he said, barking out the last insult. He begins grumbling, saying things like horses suck, and they are annoying, and he doesn't like them. Kirishima knows those are a lie, but he doesn't say he's wrong, because he's annoyed with horses too.

He noticed how Bakugou still hadn't let go of his shoulders, gripping them with tense fingers. Kirishima wasn't all that different, though, as he was still holding Bakugou's cheek, gently caressing his cheek with his thumb too, instead of wiping the rest of the dry tears.
