Kirishima found himself excited to learn more, and like usual, he prepared Prince. He was wondering why King wasn't in his box, but Bakugou was nowhere in sight, so he could only assume that he already prepared him and was at the manège already.
He brushed the dirt off Prince's coat gently, taking his time to do it thoroughly, and then he quickly did the hooves to not put Prince in too much discomfort. He brushed through his mane and tail, and then went over to the equipment shed to put the brushes back, and to get the saddle and bridle. He quickly put them on Prince, adjusted them well, and then he led him to the manège with a smile. Prince seemed happy too, so it only boosted his mood.
The sight at the manège wasn't one he expected, but he was still in awe at it. It seemed that King and Bakugou had beat them to it, but he was practising something that Kirishima could almost never hope to achieve.
King was jogging in place, and turning around at the same time. Kirishima had never seen anything more amazing, and by the smug look on Bakugou's face, he probably knows he never did.
"Ah- Kirishima," he called, once he noticed him.
King stopped doing whatever he was doing, and let Bakugou lead him over to where Kirishima was with Prince.
"You saw that?" he asked, smirking.
"Yeah!" he nodded, grinning. "That was amazing! What was it?" he asked, smiling as he reached a hand to pet King's face.
"A piaffe pirouette," he said. "It's a dressage technique, but I'm sure you already knew that," he shrugged, smiling.
"It definitely didn't look like it would be for anything else," he nodded. "It is amazing you can do that. It looks really hard," he said.
"It isn't easy, but once you know it, it isn't that hard," he shrugged. "I won't be teaching you things like that," he said, "but we've got a couple figures to go through, don't we?"
Kirishima smiled at Bakugou invite to join him in the manège, so he quickly led Prince inside it, and then mounted him easily. When Bakugou and King were doing the piaffe pirouette, they truly looked stunning, and Kirishima wasn't quite over that yet.
They practised their gaits for a couple minutes, before stopping to explain what they'll be doing for the day.
"We're going to go over all the figures you learned before, practising them by walk, and also by trot since you can do that," said Bakugou, holding the paper. "You haven't done it by trot often, so it would be good for you to practise that more, since it is probably going to be harder than by walk," he shrugged. "This afternoon, if you want, we can learn new figures. Izuku and Iida decided that they'll be doing more games or rides in the forest kind of activities this afternoon, so we have this place all to ourselves today," he said.
"That really does sound tempting," he chuckled. "I think... well- if you think I did well for the figures I know already, then I'd like to learn new ones," he nodded.
"Alright. I won't be lenient, in case you were thinking that I'd let you off the hook so fucking easily if you fuck up," he grinned. It wasn't a very reassuring grin.
"Thanks, I'm nervous now," he muttered, pouting as he got ready.
"Do a couple rounds, and then do a diagonal. I'll be following you," he instructed.
"Uh, okay," he nodded, making Prince walk forward and take the lead.
He did two rounds, and then finally did the diagonal. He's glad Bakugou didn't rush him, otherwise he would have messed up at something. Bakugou followed what he did, and then they did a second diagonal.
