The fifth week passed by, and they had simply spent the week going over things they already knew. Kirishima became more confident with the obstacles, and now he also knew the beginner obstacle race by heart. He had gone on a ride with Midoriya and Todoroki and couple times in the forest as well, as they practised different gaits and simply relaxed since it is still the summer holidays, technically.
When Kirishima woke up, he just thought about how this will be the last proper weekend he spends here. Next week... he doesn't want to think about it. Getting up, getting dressed and ready, he made his way downstairs to get some breakfast. He waved at Iida, and Midoriya, who were already eating, and then he joined them after serving himself.
"I kinda feel bad that I don't cook for you guys," he chuckled, sitting down, "since you all cook," he added.
Midoriya tried to answer, but his mouth was full, so Iida did instead.
"Do not worry about it," he smiled. "It is our duty as your host, and we all enjoy cooking, apart from Midoriya, so we do not let it bother it," he said.
"I do enjoy cooking," he frowned. "I'm not good at it, but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy it."
"I would argue that," said Iida. "But, don't worry about it. We also heard from Uraraka, who heard from Ashido, that you shouldn't be trusted in the kitchen, so we won't allow you to cook," he shrugged.
"Wha- Is she serious?" he asked, sighing. "I'm not that bad of a cook," he frowned. "I can't really cook complex meals, but I can cook noodles, and I can also fry an egg, which is very hard," he specified. "I can cook, not much, but I still can," he said. "Well... I guess that's not much," he frowned.
"I apologise, but we like to try a variety of dishes," he said. "So... fried eggs and noodles may not be enough for all of us," he frowned, hoping that he didn't offend Kirishima.
"Alright. I thought maybe I would repay the favour, but I guess it really isn't worth it," he chuckled "At least I can cook something," he smiled, as he took a mouthful of the food he had served himself with.
"I feel attacked," mumbled Midoriya, chuckling. "Do you know if Ashido will be coming over today? Uraraka hasn't told me anything, as she just left with the summer camp children this morning," he sighed.
"Let me check-" muttered Kirishima, taking out his phone from his pocket, and checking over his messages while he ate.
Mina: I can't come over today ;^;
Mina: apparently, Sero and Denki and Kyouka all wanted to go out, and they chose a location out of town so they took the car ;;
Mina: I'm not even joining them- this sucks D:
Mina: I'm sorry Ei, but we'll be here next week
Kirishima: it's fine, don't worry too much about it!
Kirishima: I hope you still have a good day? Will you be hanging out with Satou?
Mina: nope! I invited Momo over since she didn't want to go wherever they went
Mina: we are going to have a girls' day, and we are going to be making cupcakes, cookies, and yh maybe Satou will join us
Kirishima: I hope you guys have fun! I hope we get to bake all together when I come back
Mina: Satou will be offended by your mixing techniques
Kirishima: I'm sorry that I can't use a spatula properly. Mixing with my hand is much easier.
