It was about nine when Kirishima woke up, and he was startled when he saw the time. Bakugou expects him to be up around eight most of the time, at least for breakfast, so he realised that he slept in a bit.

He jumped out of bed, got washed and dressed, and then he headed down to the dining room, where Uraraka, Midoriya, and Iida were. He greeted them with a smile, and then went to fetch himself some breakfast, before sitting down beside Iida.

"Good morning," he smiled. "I woke up a bit late," he chuckled.

"Well, today is Monday after all," sighed Uraraka. "I wish I could sleep in more," she said, taking in a mouthful of cereal.

"Me too," nodded Midoriya, "but I guess mornings are important, so being awake early is nice," he shrugged. "Wake up early, go to sleep early," he said. "Except... I don't go to sleep early."

"At least you don't sleep twelve hours like Todoroki," said Iida. "I am hoping he starts to take action to fix his messy sleeping schedule," he sighed. "Bakugou has already tried, but it seems he wasn't successful today?"

"Have you guys seen him?" asked Kirishima.

"Nope! He probably woke up extra early," said Midoriya.. "Maybe he has something special in store for today?" he asked, shrugging. "Perhaps," he smiled, with a grin.

They continued eating, peacefully talking about what they may do during the day, and Uraraka complained about how picky and annoying her summer camp group is this year. Apparently they didn't want to go on a horse ride when she offered, but half of the group had wanted to, and she struggled to make then stop fighting. She just wants them to get along, but apparently that is a hard thing to ask. Midoriya apologised, knowing how kind and friendly his group is, and whilst they are just four, they all get along very well.

As they finished, they brought their dishes to the dishwasher, and then left to go outside. The summer camp groups were currently getting their horses ready while they were eating, so they were already all there. Kirishima waved at his friends as he made his way towards Bakugou's stable.

When he entered, he smiled as he noticed Prince, and King, but then he frowned as he realised King was there.

"Where is Bakugou?" he asked, raising an eyebrow as he reached a hand up to pet King's muzzle. "Have you seen him?"

King gave him a blank stare, not understanding anything that Kirishima is saying, but he still neighed as an answer. Kirishima sighed, then looked at Prince.

"Maybe he left for today? He did that once, I think? Maybe he's doing it again," he thought, aloud. "Oh well. I'll prepare both of you, in case he's challenging me to do it," he said, grinning. 'Where is he, though?'

He went over to the equipment and tool shed, and then grabbed all the necessary brushes. He'll deal with the saddles, saddle pads, and bridles after. He started grooming Prince first, and when he was finished, he hesitantly looked at King. He hasn't touched King that much, other than simply petting him and bringing him to the pasture and out, so he doesn't know how King would react to being groomed and tacked up by someone else than Bakugou.

He decided he'll deal with it after, so he grabbed Prince's equipment, and began tacking him up. He started with the saddle pad, and struggled to centre it well, but he managed after he also put the saddle on, centring them together. Prince was patient, and didn't move everywhere like horses can do sometimes. He struggled a bit with the bridle, but that's mostly because he was struggling to not have his fingers bitten off. In the end, he managed, and tightened up the saddle enough that it wouldn't fall, but he'll have to adjust it it later.
