The next day, Kirishima felt very refreshed. He woke up nice and early, enough to treat himself with a big breakfast before he goes in to work. His match had been in the middle of the week, and he's lucky he, Hagakure, and Kouda were able to take the afternoon off to go to his match. Yesterday's match must have been his best match, considering he never felt as happy as he did now, but that's maybe just because now he has a goal, and those amateur matches are a step forward.
As he munched on some fried eggs, Kirishima's eyes widened at the realisation he never even told Bakugou about the match. He didn't even tell his best friend such important event for him- He honestly felt betrayed by himself. Quickly, in the middle of chewing, he quickly texted Bakugou.
Kirishima: hey! I- you might be mad, but I completely forgot to tell you lol
Kirishima: I had an amateur match yesterday! (boxing yk)
He waited for an answer, and pouted as one didn't come as soon as he sent his texts. He knows Bakugou might still be asleep, or is already out working, but he doubts it at this hour. Bakugou might work early, but never that early. He pouted as he stared at his phone, and then he decided to just continue to eat his breakfast. Bakugou not texting him isn't going to slow his life down- His head immediately went to his phone once he heard it vibrate. He smiled as he saw Bakugou answered him.
Bakugou: Hah? Tf? Why the fuck didn't you tell me? Isn't that kind of stuff important to you? Fucking share it with me next time
He could almost hear Bakugou's growls and shouts through the text.
Kirishima: sorry man! things have been a bit hectic around here, so I never really got the time to. pls forgive me
Bakugou: fucking
Bakugou: fine
Kirishima: :D
Bakugou: did you win at least? or something? idk
Kirishima: yeah! I did! I won the three rounds! I'm so proud of myself :DD
Bakugou: that's pretty good then. you usually win though, don't you?
Kirishima: Yeah, but if I did more matches more often, then I'm sure I would have more losses
Kirishima: if and when I start professional matches, I'm pretty sure that I will have more losses than wins in no time XD
Bakugou: be fucking optimistic or whatever you do
Bakugou: anyway. if you fucking lose, at least you'll learn for future victories
Bakugou: plus boxing and all is respect and all, so losing a match shouldnt be that bad
Bakugou: some fucking people don't have the right spirit and get angry when they lose
Bakugou: fucking sore losers
Kirishima: I imagine you would be a sore loser too. Not really for boxing, but like if we played UNO or something, and you lose, you would probably rage quit
Bakugou: stfu
Kirishima couldn't help but laugh, and he smiled too. He really likes texting Bakugou, and he really couldn't even care if he ended up late at his job today. He'll apologise and be charming, and with hope his boss won't care.
Bakugou: anyway, Prince has been a fucking pain in the ass since you left. It's been a while, but he's still not over the fact you aren't going to be here until next summer. what a fucking idiot
