Your POV
You went to your first day at a new highschool. Everytime you said hello, the other students laughed and whispered to their friends. The day went by.  It was time for lunch. You went over to an empty seat. "Hi is anyone sitting here." "Not you." "Oh okay." You walked over to an empty table and sat down. "Hey that's our table." "Sorry." After more failed attempts of finding a seat you decided to eat standing up. The day went on. While you were at your locker these girls approached you. "You're not from around here, are  you?" "How did you know?" "Look at your clothes. No one wears those here. They're so ugly." "Oh. Well if you will excuse me I have to get to class. Have a good day." You smiled at them as you walked away. They walked after you. "Wait a minute. Why aren't you mad or intimidated." "Cause I've been through much worse. I was kidnapped when I was a baby. I was physically and sexually abused, but it's alright now. I found my real mom." The girl rolled her eyes. "Really? That stuff sounds crazy enough to only happen in movies. If you think you can make me feel sorry for you with you're pathetic story, well you are wrong." "Okay then don't believe me." You shrugged your shoulders as you went off to your next class. Soon the day was over and you headed home. "How was your day?" "It was fine mom." " Tell me what happened." "Nothing. What made you think something happened?" "Mother's instinct, I guess. Now come over here and tell me all about it." You sat on the couch next to your mother. "Well Everytime I said hi the kids would laugh and whisper to each other, no one wanted me to sit next to them at lunch, and they think my clothes are ugly." "Oh. Always be yourself. You're a wonderful person" "Thanks mom." "Now, while you were at school I went shopping for you. Go check your closet." You went to your room. You opened the closet. Your jaw dropped. Your mom bought you lots of new clothes. "Have you ever seen clothes so pretty." "I just thought my daughter should have the best clothes." "Thank you Mom." "No problem. Now come on, let's go to work." After modeling you went home and told Michael about your day. You went to school the next day. You were in your gym period and you participated. The sport you were playing was baseball. It was your team's turn to take the field. All the positions were filled. So you were the back catcher. The girl who insulted you yesterday was on the team that was batting. She had an evil smirk on her face. She swung the metal bat and it hit your ankle. "Ow!" As usual no one cared about you. The teacher just sat you out the game. You were sitting there bored. Your injury didn't seem so bad. You returned to your position as back catcher. It was that same girls turn to bat again. She looked at you. "Haven't you had enough?" She swung the bat and you became unconscious.
Gym teacher's POV
I took the kids outside on this beautiful spring day. They were playing baseball. Everything was going just fine. That is until I heard someone scream. "Ow!" It was that new girl (f/n). She was grabbing her leg. I just assumed that she got hit with the bat accidentally. I didn't think she was that hurt. "Here have a seat." "Okay." So she sat on the bench. Time went on and she limped back to her position as back catcher. Becky was batting. She swung the bat so weirdly. Anyways, it ended up hitting (f/n) , right on her forehead. She was unconscious and her forehead had busted open and it was bleeding. I told all the kids to go inside. I didn't want to move her to much in case she had a neck injury. I didn't have to figure out what to do because the principal came out. "What happened?" "She was the back catcher and she got hit with the medal bat by Becky." By the time I finished this explanation the ambulance arrived. They took (f/n). I went inside. The principal had called Mrs. Davis and explained the situation.
Michael's POV
She told me about her first day at school in California. It wasn't so bad. It wasn't so good either. She went to school the next day. I saw Ms. Davis hurrying about. I went over to her. "Is everything okay." "(f/n) got hit with a bat at school. She's at the hospital." Those words hurt. I hoped she was okay. I went inside and grabbed a disguise. I got in my limo and headed to the hospital. I waited with Mrs. Davis. At last the doctor came out. "Okay. (f/n) is stable, but she isn't conscious. Her forehead was busted open as well as her ankle. Her skull is cracked, but it's only a hairline fracture. There is no brain damage. So it's just a matter of her waking up. Only we don't know if or when she'll wake up. You can go see her." "Thank you doctor." Mrs. Davis and I went to see (f/n). She looked so lifeless. Mrs. Davis went to her side. "I'm sorry this had to happen. I just wanted you to have a good life for a change. I never meant for this to happen. I don't know if you can here me or not, but if you can, please wake up." We both looked at (f/n). She was still unconscious. I went to her. "Hey, it's me Michael. Remember when I told you that I needed someone to talk to. You're my someone to talk to. I told you that I love you and I care about you, I still do. Remember when I told you that I would miss you if you died, well I would also be real sad if you never woke up, so please wake up." I grabbed her hand and she grabbed my hand back. I looked at her face. She looked back at me with her (e/c) eyes. They were so pretty. "Hey, she's waking up!" Mrs. Davis came over and looked at (f/n). Her eyes were closed and she wasn't holding my hand anymore, but I was still holding hers. "Maybe you just imagined it." ",but I didn't. She was holding my hand and looking at me." "Michael, go home and get some rest." ",but." "Go home." I kissed (f/n)'s hand. "Get well soon. Okay?"
Your POV
You heard someone talking. Then you heard Michael. He was still saying how much he loved you and cared about you. You looked at him and held his hand, but you weren't totally awake. So you closed your eyes and went back to sleep. The next thing you knew you woke up and saw Michael sitting in the chair next to you. "Hey." "Hi Michael. How long have I been asleep?" "Only a day." "Hi." "Hi Mom." "How do you feel." "Kind of dizzy." "Okay, you take an easy, I'll find a doctor." "Okay, mom." Michael grabbed your hand. You held his hand back. You stared at your hand linked with Michael's. You weren't sure what it meant. "Hello. How are you feeling?" "I have a headache out of this world." "That's to be expect. Anything else you want to tell me." "I feel a little bit dizzy." "That's also to be expected." He checked your eyes and ears and knee reflex and nose. "Okay can you lift you're right arm." You lifted your right arm. "Good. How about your left arm?" You lifted your left arm. "Fantastic. Can you move your legs." You moved both legs. "Great. Okay, you'll be fine. Okay, let's see you walk." The doctor helped you out the bed. You took on step forward and collapsed. Fortunately, the doctor caught you. "Alright, you'll have to stay here for a little while. You're a little too dizzy." "How long?" "As  long as it takes for you to get better. We just want to monitor you." You laid back on the bed. "Oh, I'm so happy that you woke up." "Thanks Mom, but now I'm stuck here." "It won't be long." "Will I be able to model again." "Of course. I'll make sure of it." "Thanks Mom. Mom, what did I do wrong?" "What do you mean?" "I tried to be a nice person and Becky still hit me with a baseball bat." "You didn't do anything wrong. This is not your fault. Now, get some rest. I have to got to work." Your mother left. "Becky is just a bully. Don't let her get to you." "Okay Michael. Hey Michael?" "Yes." "Tell me what you were trying to tell me when I was asleep." His cheeks turned bright red. "What are you talking about? I didn't say anything." "Really? I was pretty sure you were saying something along the lines of I'm you're someone to talk to." "So you heard what I said?" "Yep." "I meant every word. I'm in love with you. Are we still going on some more dates?" "Yeah." "Good, I can't wait." "Do you have anything planned yet?" "Yeah." "So what are we going to do on this date?" "If I told you it wouldn't be a surprise." ",but if you told me, I might be motivated to get out of here faster." "Nice try. You'll just have to wait and see." "Fine." Now you knew that you had to get out of there as soon as possible.
