Your POV
Some time went by and your head and ankle injuries healed. You went to school and it was okay. You and Becky made it home from school. As you, your mom, and your sister were getting ready to leave you decided to make a phone call. "Okay girls, let's go." "Wait. Actually I'm going to go do something really quick." "By that she means she is going to go call her boyfriend." You rolled your eyes. "You got me Becky." "Speaking of Boyfriend, Tobey asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes." "I'm so happy for you." "So if you're going to talk to your boyfriend then I'm going to talk to my boyfriend." "Whatever you girls decide to do, just make it quick." "Yes mom." You hurried to your room. You got on the phone. "Hello (f/n)." "Hi Michael." "Listen it's a good thing you called. I was thinking maybe I could get the water park to close for me, you know, so I don't get mobbed. So what do you say about tonight after you come from work." "Okay." "Great, I'll pick you up at 7:30." "Okay. Well I just wanted to tell you about my day. It was the same as usual." "My day was pretty boring. I was so lonely. So the same as every other day." "Look, you don't have to feel lonely anymore, you have me." "Well thanks." "Listen I have to go to work now. I'll see you later." "Okay." You hung up the phone. You ran out your room to your mom. Becky was already there. "(f/n) guess what. I have a date tonight." "Me too." "You can talk about it in the limo. Come on." So you headed to work. You two talked about your dates later. You arrived at work. A few hours later work was over. You headed home. You got dressed for your date. You sat in your living room waiting for Michael. Finally, the doorbell rang. You popped up excitedly. Security answered the door. "Hey. Oh it's just you." I sat back down on the couch. Becky came out her room. "There you are beautiful." "Hey handsome." They kissed and went on their way. Soon Michael arrived. "Hey." "Hey." He kissed you. You kissed back. "Okay come on. You are going to love water parks." "If you say so." We made it to the water park. We went into the water park. "Welcome Mr. Jackson." "Thank you." We walked in and changed into our bathing suites. We started riding the water slides. "This is so fun!" Then we hit the water. "It's not the same as the normal experience, you know, with all the other people, but it's okay. No it's better than okay. It's great because I'm with you." You smiled at him. "I feel the same way about spending time with you." You continued to have fun at the water park. "Hey maybe I can teach you to swim." "Okay Michael." He began teaching you to swim. You two were enjoying yourselves. Then you two got in the lazy river. "This is so relaxing." "I know right." After awhile you decided to ride some more water slides. All while this was going on something caught your eye. "Hey Michael, what's that?" You pointed at the object. "It's a diving board. You jump off of it into the water." "Oh." You tried to ignore it. You two continued to have fun on the water slides and the lazy river. You were having so much fun. You started walking to the diving board. You climbed to the top. "Look Michael. I'm going to jump off." "Okay. Wait didn't you say you haven't swum before." "I haven't." "Wait!" It was too late. You jumped off the diving board. You hit the water and you popped back up. Your feet weren't touching the bottom. You started screaming for help, but you were already sinking. Water filled your lungs. You went under the water. You sank to the bottom. You became desperate for air. Instinctively your mouth opened. You got water instead of air. Then there was darkness.
Michael's POV
I took Barri to the Water park. It was going great. Then Barri jumped off the diving board. I immediately, jumped in after her. She had already hit the bottom. I swum down to get her. I brought her to the surface. I laid her down on the side of the pool. She wasn't breathing. "Help!" I didn't think anyone would come because the water park was closed. The manger took one look and ran to call 911. He came back out with instructions. I followed the instructions. Somehow I was performing CPR. "Come on. Wake up, please." She didn't wake up soon the paramedics came. They took her away. I jumped in the limo. "Follow her." We made it to the hospital. I snuck away to a bathroom and put on normal clothes. I came back out the bathroom.
Becky's POV
My date was fantastic. I made it home. It was about 10 o'clock. Time went passed. It was now 11 o'clock. I began to worry. "Mom, where is (f/n)? She should be here by now." "Calm down. She'll be here, she's a good girl." Some more time went by. My mom and I decided to go across the street to Mrs. Jackson. We knocked on the door. Security came to the door, so did Mrs. Jackson. "Oh hey Susan. Come on in." So we went in the house. "So what's up." "Did Michael come back after his date with my daughter?" "No. Do you think something happened?" "We can't be certain. Well I'm sorry I bothered you. I'm going to go home now." "Okay." So we left. We went home and the phone rang. Mom picked it up. "Hello? Yes. What? Okay. Thank you for telling me." She hung up the phone. "(f/n) was rushed to the hospital. Come on." We jumped in the limo and arrived at the hospital. I saw Michael in some disguise. "Michael that disguise isn't fooling anybody." "Well I'm not being mobbed. So it must be working. Don't blow my cover." "You're not being mobbed because it's midnight." "So emergencies happened at midnight." Then the doctor came out. "Are you the mother of (f/n)?" "Yes." "We got her stable. We didn't detect any brain damage. So it's just a matter of her waking up." "What happened to her?" "Considering, that there was water in her lungs. She was drowning." "Michael what happened?" "We were having fun at the water park. She got on the diving board. Before I could tell her to get off the diving board, she jumped in the water." Tears started falling down his face. "I'm sorry Mrs. Davis. I'm sorry Becky." "Oh Michael don't worry about it." "Yeah, let's go see (f/n)." We went to see her. She looked so lifeless. Mom started talking to (f/n). "Hey it's mom. I need you to wake up, again. Please? Please!" Tears started falling down mom's face. "Mom it's okay. She's okay. Why don't you have a seat and calm down." "Okay." "Hey. It's me Becky. Wake up please." There was still nothing. I let out a yawn. "Becky you get in the limo and go home. You need your rest. You have school tomorrow." "But" "No buts." "Okay mom." I left. When I reached the door of the hospital my mom was behind me.
Michael's POV
Becky and Mrs. Davis left. So it was just me and (f/n). "It's me Michael. I'm really sorry about what happened. We don't ever have to go to a water park ever again." Tears begin falling down my cheeks. "I never meant for this to happen." (F/n) opened her eyes. She smiled at me. "Are you kidding? I just had the time of my life." ",but you were drowning." "It's not your fault. I didn't know the water was that deep. What do those numbers mean on the side of the pool?" "Those numbers tell you how deep the water is." "Oh, that explains so much." "I should have told you that sooner." "Stop blaming yourself. It's not your fault that I've never been to a pool or water park. It's not your fault that you didn't know that I didn't know that those numbers were how deep the water was. It's not your fault. Besides I'm alright now. I would love to go to the water park again." "You know what? I'm just glad you're alright." I dried my eyes and called the doctor. After awhile the doctor spoke. "She is doing just fine. We just want to keep her overnight for observation." "Okay." I called (f/n)'s mom. "Hello Mrs. Davis? Yeah (f/n) just woke up. The doctor said she has to stay overnight. Okay." I hung up the phone. "You're mom said she'll come tomorrow." "Okay. Go home to your mother." "I won't leave you, but I will call her. You rest now." "Okay." She closed her eyes and went to sleep. I told my mom where I was.
