It was the second week since everyone arrived back at school for the new year and Cyrus noticed something. Something strange. Jonah had been EVERYWHERE since they returned. He was hanging out near Cyrus, he would be in the same classes, his seat was now closer to him, he started following Cyrus on all social media's. It was getting scary. Cyrus however, didn't mind that much. His hatred for the once Infamous Jonah Beck had completely disappeared and instead a profound interest arose.

People didn't know yet but Jonah had broken up with his girlfriend after the bullying he received for the age difference. So he would stand alone in the mornings near Cyrus's hangout, Then he'd hang out with his friends at breaks. Everyone had Maths first lesson so they didn't get there on time. Cyrus hated maths and after his previous performance in the practice exam, he was doomed. Cyrus sat in his seat at the back of the room as usual. Andi and Buffy weren't in Cyrus's maths class so he preferred to sit in the back corner.

The teacher went to the front of the class to announce something.
"Good morning class, today we have a new student who has moved up a class in maths! Please welcome Jonah Beck!" He said as the boy in question walked through the door.
"You just go take a seat back there next to Cyrus, he'll help you settle in." He smiled brightly. Everyone watched in awe as Jonah walked to the back and sat next to Cyrus.

"Oh you again," Cyrus joked.
"Problem?" He asked.
"Depends."
"On what?"
"Are you going to be a pain in the ass?" Cyrus asked smiling.
"Well I can't kick your chair here so I'll think of something else." He said returning the smile.

The class were working on equations which Cyrus could handle. He noticed Jonah trying to copy his answers into his own book and tried his best to cover them up. He failed.
"So what did you get for question 8?" Jonah asked.
"Umm.. X=36!" Cyrus stated.
Jonah checked his own answers over and over.
"That's strange, I got 87," He finally said.
"Is that because your copying the numbers wrong?" Cyrus laughed.
Cute moment incoming
Jonah compared their numbers together.
"They look the same to me," He said, giving up.
Cyrus checked.
"That's because you wrote a 7 there, it's meant to be a 1." Cyrus revealed.
"Well that's not very obvious, your handwriting is shocking." Jonah stared at the horrendous numbers.
"It's not bad!" Cyrus defended himself.

"Oh really? This is how you should do it." Jonah said. He put his hand around Cyrus's hand and guided the pen he was holding. He drew out the number 1 and the number 7. Cyrus was dazed by how smooth and delicate Jonah's hands were. It sent a shock through his body causing him to blush. Jonah unfortunately noticed.

"I can't believe you've just blushed at that!" He exclaimed.
"Huh...wha....I didn't." Cyrus tried to save himself.
"Don't lie to me Cyrus, you blushed when I touched your hand!" He nearly shouted.
"You wanna keep your voice down!?" Cyrus whisper shouted.
"Why? Scared people might mistake you for liking me?" He asked smirking.
"No... that's crazy." Cyrus said.
"Is it?" Jonah asked before wiggling his eyebrows and pouting.
"Your unbelievable." Cyrus laughed at Jonah's stupidity.
"Whatever lover boy." Jonah chuckled.

The lesson was over and everyone made their way outside. Cyrus's next period thankfully didn't have Jonah in it. He started making his way towards his next class but he heard something in the distance.
"Cyrus! Hold up!" The voice yelled. Cyrus looked at who it was. 1 guess on who it was.

Jonah caught up with Cyrus and took a second to regain his breath.
"You forgot this!" He said handing Cyrus his pen.
"Oh.. uh thanks.. Jonah." He smiled lightly.
"Um about today. Thank you I guess, for uh.. helping me with equations. Even if your handwriting is awful." He laughed.
"Well thank you for helping me get better at that." Cyrus nodded. Jonah put a huge smile on his face.
"Your cool man, I'll see you around." Jonah said before jogging off to his next lesson.

Cyrus checked the pen Jonah had given him. It wasn't Cyrus's, it was Jonah's pen. The one he helped Cyrus write numbers properly with. Cyrus blushed again at the thought of what happened. Maybe this whole Jonah thing wasn't a bad thing overall.

"Maybe I'll even start getting used to it," Cyrus said to himself.
