I'm debating whether to do 40 chapters or 50 chapters. My brain wants me to make it 50 but idk. Anyway enjoy!

It was 9:00 am and Cyrus was currently searching around for his boyfriend. It wasn't unusual for Jonah to disappear in the mornings but he was usually in the house. Cyrus had been looking around for a good 10 minutes but Jonah was nowhere to be seen. Cyrus decided to just take a shower and not think on it too much. He was momentarily shocked by the hot water hitting his body but quickly adjusted to the perfect warmth. Once he had washed, he got into a robe and made his way downstairs to make breakfast. He noticed some leftover pizza from last night and decided to heat it up for his meal.

He ate breakfast outside in one of the loungers and listened to the sounds of the neighbour kids jumping and splashing in the pool. Cyrus wanted a child so bad and he was tempted to ask Jonah about it sometime this year. He sat back in the chair and allowed his mind to wonder. He could imagine him and Jonah laid back just chatting whilst their kids played in the back yard, jumping and messing around. He let out a happy sigh as the thoughts surrounded him.

Cyrus heard a knock at the front door so he got up from the lounger and went inside to see who it was. He opened the door to Jonah's old assistant who worked at the building in the city.

"Mr Goodman, how great it is to see you again!" She greeted as Cyrus kissed her on the cheek.

"Please come in." He replied motioning her towards the couch.

"So how have you guys been?" She asked looking around the place.

"Incredible, I'm so happy we're finally away from the noisy city." Cyrus chuckled looking out at the trees.

"Yes it looks lovely, I'm planning on getting out of that life aswell." She said watching the birds outside singing.

"Where's Jonah by the way?" She asked shortly after.

"I'm not sure, he hasn't been here all morning." He replied.

"Strange." She said.

"Not really, I can't remember the last time I woke up with him next to me." He complained. She laughed at his complaint.

"He always was pretty secretive when he was younger." She smiled thinking back.

*"Jonah!? Where are you?" Natalie asked looking around the lobby. Jonah's parents had looked for him everywhere in the penthouse but couldn't find him.

Natalie decided to drive out to the park just a mile away from the Beck Enterprises building. She parked up and strolled down the path looking for a place he could've been hiding.

"Looking for someone?" A small boy asked.

"Yes an 8 year old boy called Jonah." She replied looking around cautiously. The boy just chuckled at her.

"I'm TJ, follow me." He smiled and started running off into the bushes.

"Just my luck." She muttered to herself.

"So how do you know Jonah?" the boy shouted as he ran.

"I'm his assistant, Natalie." She replied trying not to trip over any of the branches that were on the ground. TJ started climbing a large tree that must've been 10-20 feet tall.

"I don't think I can get up there TJ.." Natalie claimed.

"Don't worry, there's a ladder over there for visitors." TJ replied. She looked over and sure enough, there was a ladder to the top of the tree. She climbed up the ladder with only one part breaking off at the bottom. Anxiety nearly overtook her as she looked down.
