This chapter is reserved for Buffy and Marty's date. I wanted to expand on each character's story a little more.
It was the next evening and it was the night of buffy's first date with Marty. She was excited but also extremely nervous. A feeling she had pushed away every time she saw him. However this time the feeling consumed her and she was beginning to panic. It took a few minutes but she sorted herself out and knew she was in for an emotional rollercoaster. She went to her dresser and picked out the midnight purple dress from the party and put it on. She matched it with some diamond earings and matching shoes and organised her handbag.
She said goodbye to her mother and stood on the street waiting for Marty. A man walked past her and looked her up and down before yelling something muffled. Buffy however knew exactly what he said and walked after him.
"OI! GET BACK HERE NOW AND SAY THAT TO MY FACE!" She screamed. A car pulled aside her and a familiar voice was heard.
"It's not worth it beautiful, now hop in before it looks even more suspicious," Marty flashed a smile at her.  She smiled and hopped in the car. Marty began driving past the man and Buffy stuck her middle finger out the window.
"Happy now?" Marty asked laughing hysterically.
"Much better, stupid prick," She muttered.
"So what's on the agenda?" She continued.
"Well I was thinking either we could just go for dinner, orrr we could get that frustration out of you and go to the fair?" He suggested.
"Its up to you though, what do you want to do?"
"I say we go to dinner first, and then the fair." Buffy decided.
"As you wish madam." He joked.
Marty continued to drive the car through the streets of the town and into the city. Buffy looked out the window and saw all the lights that soaked the city in light.
"This is so beautiful!" She stated.
"You've never seen the city?" He asked raising his eyebrows.
"No I have, but I've just never appriciated it like this." She replied. The car stopped in traffic and Marty pointed up at a large contemporary building.
"Do you know what that is?" He asked her.
                              "A building?" She joked
"Haha very funny!" He laughed at her sarcastically
"That is Beck Enterprises, it's where Jonah lives. His family is incredibly rich." He continued.
                              "Really!?" She was amazed.
"Your not thinking of leaving me for him now are you?" He joked.
"Don't be stupid, he has his eyes elsewhere." Buffy smiled.
"They'll be lucky if they survive Jonah." Marty laughed.
"What do you mean?" She asked.
"He has a weird way with people he likes, he can make them feel worthless one day and then empower them another. Most don't survive and just become toys to him." Marty explained.
"Oh my g..." She replied panicking for Cyrus if it was true.
"Do you know who he likes?" Marty asked.
"No but I can't imagine what it would be like." Buffy lied.
"I think you'll be ok if you follow his 'rules'." Marty continued before driving on again.
