20: The Camping Trip #2

Jonah and Marty were walking through the woods, Jonah had a sharp stick and Marty had sharpened some stones to pelt at creatures. The sun was still high in the sky as the boys adventured into the unknown.

"It's been a while you know, just me and you." Marty broke the silence.

"Years, I remember our last game." Jonah sighed.

"We were 10, I can't believe we fell out." Marty added.

"I know. We're all good now though, right?" Jonah asked.

"Of course, I support all the choices you make now." Marty smiled.

"Thanks bro." Jonah replied while putting his arm around the boy.

The boys ventured until they discovered a river. Water vapour was carried from the waterfall ahead of them.

"This is beautiful!" Jonah's jaw dropped.

" I know right!" Marty was just as amazed. They sat on a nearby log that had once been a fallen tree.

"Say Jonah, you have a lot of experience in the bedroom right?" Marty asked shyly. Jonah chuckled and replied with,
"I may have had a few experiences."

"I need your advice on something then." Marty continued.

"Anything." Jonah smiled whilst picking up small stones and skimming them across the river water.

"I want to take things further with Buffy, but I don't know if she wants to. What should I do?" He asked.

"Well if she hasn't done it before then I would do what I did with Cyrus." Jonah replied.

"Which is?"

"There has to be a lot of trust. I was originally gonna use handcuffs but he said it was his first time. Instead I asked if he was ready then I would help him. I made sure everything I did was comfortable with him." Jonah said and smiled at Marty reassuringly.

"So your saying that I should just ask her?" He asked tilting his head a little bit.

"Yes! But... only when you feel it's the right time." Jonah replied.

"Thanks Jonah, one more thing. You mentioned handcuf...." Marty said before being cut off by Jonah's finger hitting his lips.

"I wouldn't even think about it, Buffy will probably end up being dominant and making you wear it." Jonah laughed at Marty's worried expression.

"I'll keep that in mind." He whispered, gulping.

"God this place is absolutely stunning!" Jonah said.

"Come on let's take a swim!" Marty shouted jumping in. Jonah sprinted for the water and created a large splash. What the boys didn't know however, was that the water was actually fast rapids leading to another waterfall.

"Jonah help!" Marty yelled as he was clinging onto a rock. Jonah used all of his strength to fight against the rapids in an attempt to get to the rock. They grabbed each other's hands but were taken away from each other when they went over the edge of the waterfall.

Meanwhile, Andi, Buffy and Cyrus were snapping branches off of the trees to create a fire and shelter. Buffy was bashing the branches with rocks and ripping them off whilst Andi built the fire and Cyrus built the shelter.

"Looking good guys!" Buffy exclaimed checking out the work they had done.

"Thanks Buffy." They both replied simultaneously.

"Do you think Jonah's ok?" Cyrus asked. He was on edge since they had left.

"Stop worrying Cy! They'll be fine. It'll be nice for them to catch up." Buffy replied.
