29: A Favour

The rays from the sun seeped and filtered through the curtains of Cyrus and Jonah's bedroom and illuminated the room. It was a peaceful Saturday morning in their quaint neighbourhood with only the sounds of swaying leaves and birds singing. Jonah was first to wake up and groaned a little too loudly causing Cyrus to wake up next to him.

"Are you kidding me!? I was having the best dream!" He practically yelled at Jonah.

"Was it about me?" Jonah asked, resting his head on Cyrus's moving chest.

"Nope." Cyrus replied smiling.

"Obviously wasn't the best dream then." Jonah smirked and kissed him. They got out of bed and went downstairs to get breakfast.

"Pancakes?" Jonah asked.

"Not today, we're gonna eat healthy." Cyrus smirked knowing Jonah wouldn't like that.

"Ugh sometimes you really don't like me do you." Jonah muttered.

"You know I love you!" Cyrus rubbed Jonah's back and got two bowls out. Jonah opened the sliding doors and went outside to sit in a chair. He wanted to talk to Cyrus about something so he prepared himself. Cyrus prepared a selection of fruit and put them in the bowls. He brought the food out and handed Jonah a bowl and a fork.

"Enjoy." Cyrus chuckled.

"Hmph."

They ate their breakfast whilst watching the leaves sway in the lush spring breeze and talked about random topics.

"Cyrus, uh- I've been thinking..." Jonah stuttered.

"Remember our recent date?" He asked.

"Yeah...." Cyrus replied.

"I've been thinking about our baby." Jonah stated.

"Wait... really!? Me too!" Cyrus smirked.

"Oh Thank god, I was hoping you were. I have an idea on how we should do it." Jonah added.

"Okay..."

"Natalie, I think she would be a perfect fit." Jonah smiled slightly.

"I don't know Jonah, after what you said about her miscarriage, I.."

"Trust me Cyrus, she's obviously a lot better now than she used to be." Jonah put his hand on Cyrus's.

"I really don't want anything to go wrong." Cyrus admitted.

"It won't, you trust her right? I think we should pay her a visit." Jonah replied.

"If you think this is a good idea, then I trust you. Always."

The car started and the boys were on their way into the city.

"Didn't she say she wanted to move down someplace like this?" Cyrus asked as they drove past the exit sign.

"Yeah but I think she's waiting for a husband." Jonah replied.

"So am I," Cyrus winked.

"Someday babe. Someday." Jonah smiled and they got onto the interstate.

The drive took about 2 hours and they were hit with memories as they passed by buildings and signs they had once been surrounded by. Jonah pulled into the parking lot of the building and locked the car behind them.

"Are you sure about this?" Cyrus asked worriedly.

"Positive." Jonah nodded and linked his hand with Cyrus's. They walked in perfect sync to the front door of the building and entered. The lobby hadn't changed a bit, it was just as they'd remembered. The three girls were at the front with Natalie on the left hand side.

"Jonah! Cyrus! How great to see you again." She exclaimed, walking out of the door and running up to them as best she could in heels.

"We've missed you Natalie." Jonah smiled and kissed her on the cheek.

"Say, could you come with us up to the penthouse?" He added.

"Um sure." She smiled and they traveled to the elevator before pressing the large button at the top. The elevator began its ascent and the three just exchanged smiles.

"It's been a while hasn't it." She broke the silence.

"Only a few months but we need to do some catching up." Cyrus smirked as the elevator reached the top. Jonah's parents were sat in the lounge with little Noah.

"Woah look at you! You've gotten so big." Jonah chuckled picking his little brother up and swinging him around. Noah responded in a giggle as Jonah put him down again.

"What are you guys doing here?" Jonah's dad asked.

"Actually we were hoping we could talk to Natalie, but we can hang out with you guys afterwards." Jonah replied smiling.

"Yeah of course, your office is still there if you wanna go there." Jonah's mother said.

"Okay we'll see you guys soon." Jonah smiled again and led Cyrus and Natalie to his old office. The office sure enough hadn't changed a bit. The chairs were the same, the decorations and even Jonah's name on the desk. They all took a seat with Jonah in the main chair and Natalie sat with Cyrus in the chairs opposite.

"Feels good to be back in here." He relaxed.

"So what's this all about?" Natalie asked.

"You remember the 'favour' I said I needed?" Jonah asked her in reply.

"Yeah..." She was a little scared what he was about to say.

"I don't like calling it a favour anymore, but we want to ask you something." Jonah said.

"Okay sure."

"Well, I know you were telling me about what happened to your baby, and me and Cyrus are thinking of having a child." Jonah started. Natalie's face grew a smile causing both boys to be relieved.

"We were wondering if you would like to be the one to carry our baby?" Cyrus finished. She sat there for a minute just thinking things out and finally came to a decision.

"I would be joyed to hold your baby!" She cried. Cyrus just looked at Jonah to be met with a huge smirk.

"WE'RE HAVING A BABY!!" Jonah screamed and began jumping up and down. They sat down again and organised all of the details and what would happen. They planned to do the insemination in two days using Jonah and Natalie for the DNA. Cyrus was fine with that as long as he was getting a child.

It was about a week later and it was confirmed that Natalie was pregnant. Cyrus and Jonah decided to celebrate with everybody and Natalie made sure that she didn't have a drop of alcohol. Everyone was proud of them all for going through with something this serious and even Walker admitted he was born like that. All they had to do now was prepare for the baby and wait the 9 months. They also had to wait for the dog to arrive which would help with the long wait.

Back to normal with chapters now hopefully. Also, I'm really just starting to ship Sam and Colby and I can't believe I never watched them before. Might write a story about them if anyone's interested.... 😁
