Slightly shorter chapter. I thought I'd add this since it happened to me in real life.
It was Thursday lunch time and the trio had decided to spend lunch break outside, since it was finally sunny. The temperatures rising meant people were a lot happier and a lot more confident. Cyrus wanted to tell Andi and Buffy about maths so they sat under a large tree overlooking the football field where Jonah hung out.
"So What's on your mind Cy?" Buffy asked reaching for his hand. He quickly swiped it away.
"Don't touch this hand! It has an untold story that I am willing to tell you." He said.
"Yesterday in maths, Jonah moved into my class and was sat next to me." Cyrus started.
"Oooh!" Andi got excited already.
"Nothing's happened yet Andi! Anyway, we were arguing as usual and he tried copying my answers. He got it wrong because apparently he couldn't read my writing." He continued.
"Well you do have pretty bad handwriting Cy." Buffy laughed.
"And so after complaining, he grabbed my hand and showed me how to write 1 and 7." He said showing his hand.
"So we can't touch you because Jonah has? Looks like someone's catching feelings!" Andi smiled.
"I wouldn't call it that but I don't hate him anymore." Cyrus replied.
"Aww Cyrus!" Buffy squealed.
It was nearing the end of lunch and the trio began walking towards the building. Cyrus spotted Jonah passing a rugby ball between his mates. Cyrus was in line with Jonah and he didn't catch the ball. It bounced and rolled over to Cyrus. The mix of adrenaline from just seeing Jonah and a ball coming towards him made him act out of pure shock. Cyrus kicked the ball as hard as he could away from Jonah.
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING CYRUS GOODMAN!" He screamed. He ran over to the ball and the sounds of Andi and Buffy laughing in the background were loud. The ball landed in between Cyrus's legs and Jonah went on his knees to get it without hesitation. Andi snorted at the act causing Buffy to drop down laughing.
Jonah grabbed Cyrus's legs and pulled them so that the ball would fall out. He picked it up and ran past Cyrus making sure to hit his shoulder with his own on the way past. The act knocked Cyrus back a little bit.
Cyrus regrouped indoors with the two out of control laughing freaks.
"It was not that funny!" He shouted.
"It really was Cy! I nearly died when he screamed!" Buffy regained her breath. Andi quickly calmed aswell.
"Especially when Jonah got on his knees for Cyr....." andi couldn't even finish the sentence before her and Buffy were dying again.
"You two get on my nerves sometimes!" Cyrus raged.
