35: The Baby

"What about the baby?!" Cyrus shouted.

"Everybody out! We need to perform surgery straight away to save the baby." A doctor shouted and ordered for a stretcher to take Natalie to the surgery room. Everyone exited and gathered around Cyrus and Jonah to calm them even though nobody there was calm.

A woman in a security outfit approached Jonah and Cyrus.

"Would you boys like to come with me, I need to show you something." She said. Jonah and Cyrus exchanged looks and followed the woman into a security room. She tapped away at the keyboard and footage from a camera appeared on the screen. They watched as a blonde person walked into the room and killed Natalie with the pillow.

"It's her." Jonah said with his eyes wide.

"Excuse me?" The woman asked.

"The girl, I thought I saw her earlier. Do you have a picture of her face?" Jonah replied.

"We do not. She kept her head down for all of the cameras." The woman said.

About two hours later, a doctor arrived at the group of people and told them to follow him. He led them into a room where there was a small cot. Cyrus walked around to get a clearer look and saw his future. A small baby was laid inside the cot covered by a blanket.

"The baby survived surgery thankfully, it's a boy." The doctor smiled.

"Hear that Jonah, we have a baby boy!" Cyrus said with a bit of sadness in his voice. Jonah's emotions were flip flopping between happiness and anger and sadness and joy. A horrible mix especially for Jonah. But he knew that he needed to stay strong, for his family. He picked up the baby and cuddled him.

"Have you decided on a name?" Andi asked running in with Buffy. Cyrus looked to Jonah who just nodded back at him.

"We decided on Harvey," Cyrus smiled and looked at the new member of the family.

"How come?" Buffy asked.

"It means battle worthy, Jonah liked the idea of our child being a little warrior." Cyrus chuckled in reply.

"I think it's adorable." Andi smiled.

"Where's Natalie by the way?" Buffy asked looking around. Cyrus exchanged a look with Jonah and then to everyone else in the room. Andi and Buffy had no idea of the trauma that had taken place earlier.

"She... She was killed." Jonah's dad replied sadly. Their faces were as shocked as everyone else's.

"It was Amber." Jonah said simply through gritted teeth. Everyone's heads snapped to Jonah.

"That's an extremely serious accusation to make Jonah." His mother said.

"How do you know?" Buffy asked.

"I just do."

"You just do? That's not a good enough excuse." Andi said.

"You believe me right Cy?" Jonah asked begging to his boyfriend.

"I'm sorry Jonah, that's a bit far just because she's blonde." Cyrus replied.

"Then again, she was out to get you guys." Buffy stood up for him.

Cyrus walked to the front door and opened it quickly before going inside and slamming it shut again. He had to make sure that Charlie didn't get out.

"Charlie, meet Harvey Beck!" Cyrus shouted causing the dog to strut over and welcome Cyrus home.

"Now we better get you asleep while we wait for daddy to get back huh. We didn't expect you this early." Cyrus smiled and made his way upstairs with Harvey.
