A month had passed since the eventful 'camping trip' and Jonah was back in his office playing with a rubix cube. He was on FaceTime with Cyrus whilst he was figuring out how to complete the puzzle.
"So when is he being born" Cyrus asked looking at Jonah through the camera.
"My dad is betting on her going into labour either today or tomorrow." He replied spinning the coloured cube in boredom.
"Don't you have a 'huge' frisbee game to play tomorrow?" Cyrus asked making bunny ears on the word huge.
Jonah stuck his middle finger up at Cyrus causing him to laugh.
"It's a serious sport!" Jonah tried to back himself up.
"I'm sure it is princess!" Cyrus mocked him.
"I should be able to play it if mom goes into labour today, if not then either I can't play, or I'll miss meeting my bro." Jonah shrugged his shoulders before throwing the cube into a draw and focusing on Cyrus.
"You are so cute." He complimented the boy.
"Wish I could say the same to you." Cyrus laughed.
"You are in trouble when I see you again!" Jonah said. Cyrus and Jonah kept a straight face for a few seconds, before bursting out in laughter.
Jonah's dad rushed into Jonah's office momentarily, face red.
"Everything ok dad?" He asked.
"Come on, it's time to go. She's going in." He said as he rushed out.
"Cyrus I've gotta go now." Jonah said to his boyfriend.
"Your probably gonna be waiting a while!" Cyrus replied.
"Yeah that's true, I'll text you." He smiled at the boy.
"Ok good luck, I'll see you soon." Cyrus smiled back.
"Byeee!" Jonah said before ending the call, slipping his phone into his pocket and running towards the elevator. He reached the first floor and looked for his parents.
"Your father has taken your mother to the hospital by car Master Beck." One of the girls at the desk said.
"Charming." Jonah muttered.
"Either you can drive yourself, or I can take you if you're too nervous." She gave him options.
"Can you take me?" He asked.
"Of course, this way." She said and Jonah followed her.
"We'll take your car ok?" She asked.
"Yep!" Jonah replied. They walked out to the car and set off.
"Are you excited?" She asked, seeming a little sad.
"Of course! I'm getting a baby brother." Jonah was smiling brightly.
"Lucky you," She smiled sadly.
"What's wrong?" Jonah asked.
"Nothing, you wouldn't want to hear it right now." She replied lifting her head up to stay strong.
"Tell me." Jonah ordered.
"I was pregnant a while before you were born." She started.
"Unfortunately back then I wasn't the healthiest of people unlike now." She continued.
"You seem pretty fit and healthy to me," Jonah cut in.
"Yeah well, I used to drink a lot. Even with the baby I would be a pretty heavy drinker."
