I am SOO sorry for not updating in a week. I've been extremely busy (yes even in quarantine) and haven't had the time. Thanks for the continued support even if chapters are slow.

It had been a month since Jonah and Cyrus's date and things were a little quiet around the house. Jonah would be out working during the day and Cyrus was left to his own devices. He usually just cooked and played games but needed a big change. He thought back to the whole baby thing but Jonah hadn't said anything about it since the date. Cyrus was currently lay down on the sofa watching a TV show just waiting for Jonah to return. It was 4:00 pm so Jonah would most likely be about an hour or two.
On another note, Andi and Walker had recently moved into their own house and bought a dog. Cyrus wanted a pet and he knew Jonah also wanted one really badly, so he quickly tossed the idea about in his head. He decided he wanted to surprise Jonah and so he left to go to the pet store. Upon arrival he saw the logo for the store and parked his car in the parking lot just outside. He had invited Buffy to help him pick out a dog that Jonah would like.
"Hey Cy!" She said getting out of her car.
"Hey Buff," He replied smiling. They embraced in a hug and walked across the parking lot towards the store.
"So please explain to me again why we are buying you a dog?" Buffy asked as the air conditioning hit them.
"Buffy, I'm so bored at home on my own. I need something to do everyday." He replied.
"Why don't you get a job then?" She questioned him again.
"Because I don't want one, at least not yet." Cyrus replied a little agitated.
"What about a child?" Buffy suggested.
"I'm thinking of asking him about it, he said he wanted one a while ago but it never went anywhere."
The two went to the area containing all the dogs and began the search for the perfect one.
"Aww Cyrus look, this one is saying hi!" Buffy squealed looking at a dog stood up with its paws to the cage.
"Aww That is cute, but not the perfect one." Cyrus replied smiling at the dog.
"Hello, is there anything that I could help you with?" A woman asked as she approached the two.
"Yes my friend here would like a dog to play with and take care of whilst his partner is working." Buffy replied to the lady.
"You look like you'd probably enjoy a smaller dog, am I right?" She asked Cyrus.
"Yeah possibly." He replied.
She led Buffy and Cyrus across the room to a selection of smaller dogs.
"Oh my god!" Cyrus squealed looking at one of the dogs. In front of him was a rather excited looking Jack Russel Terrier looking back at him.

"He's beautiful." Buffy smiled brightly at the little pup.
"This one is very playful and would be a great fit." The lady added. Cyrus was nearly tearing up at how amazing the dog was.
"I'll take him." He smirked. The lady lead them to an office where they organised the visit to check the home and all of that. Once they had finished up, Cyrus took Buffy to the restaurant opposite and they had lunch there.
"So your gonna ask about a child with Jonah?" Buffy asked sipping her coffee.
"Maybe, but we did just get a dog." Cyrus chuckled.
"Two is better than one." Buffy smirked.
"If you say so," Cyrus smiled back at her. They finished their food and said their goodbyes before heading off. Once Cyrus arrived home he placed the dog information on the coffee table and laid on the sofa before shutting his eyes. It didn't take long for him to drop off and he fell into a deep slumber.

It was about 6:30 and Jonah was driving down the highway towards the town he lived in. He was texting his assistant at the penthouse every time he stopped in traffic. He wanted to maintain a good relationship with her since he had a favour he wanted to ask of her.
He pulled into the driveway and picked up his belongings before slamming the car door shut and locking it. He walked to the front door and unlocked it, walking inside. He saw Cyrus laid on the couch and decided to rest his bags and sit on the opposite sofa. He just watched the unconscious boy sleeping peacefully. Cyrus awoke shortly afterwards and saw his boyfriend watching him.
"Oh, Hey." Cyrus muttered as he wiped his eyes to clear the blur.
"Hey sweetheart." Jonah replied smiling.
"Don't call me that." Cyrus smiled back and sat up.
"What's this by the way?" Jonah asked as he sat next to Cyrus. He pulled out the pamphlet with the dog on it and handed it to Cyrus.
"I'm bored here on my own babe, I need company." Cyrus complained.
"I understand that but I would've hoped that you'd consult me first before buying a dog." Jonah replied.
"It's a Jack Rustle Terrior." Cyrus raised his eyebrows smiling. Jonah's face went from serious to a large smile instantly and cuddled into Cyrus.
"I knew I made the right decision with you." Jonah exclaimed as he drowned his boyfriend in kisses.
"Get off you big girl." Cyrus joked. Jonah laughed and went into the kitchen to grab dinner.
"Umm Cy, where's the food?" Jonah asked.
"Yeah about that, I kinda didn't have time to make any." Cyrus gulped to himself. Jonah walked back into the room, furiously.
"Unfortunately for you, even a dog won't save you from this one." He smirked and grabbed Cyrus's hand before leading him upstairs.
"Can we at least order food after this?" Cyrus asked as he was thrown onto the bed.
"Sure, now take your clothes off." Jonah ordered.

After Cyrus's punishment, the boys took a shower and ordered dinner. The ate in the lounge whilst watching a comedy movie. They talked about their new dog for the rest of the evening before heading to bed. Cyrus had forgotten about the baby but it wouldn't be long before it came up.
