It had been another week since the announcement of the baby and Jonah was out at work leaving Cyrus at home again. The person who checked their house for the dog was supposed to arrive at some point between tomorrow and two days after that. Cyrus had been bored again and he was on the phone to Andi.

"Cyrus why don't you just get a small job, it doesn't need to be anything fancy. Might get you out of the house for a bit." She suggested.

"Because Andi, I'm gonna have a dog to take care of soon so what's the point?" Cyrus asked.

"The dog will still take a little while to be at your house, just get a small part time job." She replied.

"Where would I find a 'small part time job'?" He asked.

"The Spoon would probably accept you, it's like your second home." She laughed.

"Good idea, I'll go down now actually." Cyrus said and the two said their goodbyes. Cyrus put on a jacket and locked up ready to leave. He drove down to the Spoon and parked up a few streets down. He enjoyed the brief walk with the breeze hitting him. He kinda missed the area where he used to live and obviously the street that had become so iconic to him and his friends because of the Spoon. He opened the door, letting the bell chime in his ear lightly and went straight to the front area. A man with short brown hair approached the boy at the front.

"What can I get you?" He asked in a pretty husky voice.

"Uh- Actually I was wondering if I could get a part time job here temporarily." Cyrus replied. The man looked Cyrus up and down before grunting and motioning him to follow. Cyrus nearly tripped over his feet following the intimidating figure into the back. He reached into a closet and picked out a hat and a badge.

"You'll be helping our new waitress out. Write your name on the badge and just take peoples orders. Collect the food once it's cooked and deliver it to the right table. Got that?" The man asked after instructing him.

"Yeah I think so..." Cyrus said writing his name on the badge and walking out.

"Oh and C-Cyrus?" He raised his voice looking at the name on the badge.

"Yes?"

"Make sure you deliver it to the right table, not like blondie over there." He grunted and pushed Cyrus slightly into the restaurant area. Cyrus shivered at the encounter he just faced and looked around on where to get started. He noticed Andi sat on a table in the corner with Walker, signalling him over. Cyrus nearly ran over to them and exhaled sharply.

"I'm telling you guys, this is hard work!" Cyrus exclaimed.

"Aren't we your first order though?" Walker asked smirking at Cyrus's red face.

"Shut up, anyway what can I get you?" He asked pulling a notepad and pen out.

"Two portions of baby tators and two large chocolate milkshakes please." Walker replied handing Cyrus some money.

"Sure thing!" Cyrus said walking off. He was quickly stopped dead in his tracks when Andi cleared her throat intentionally. He walked back and raised his eyebrows.

"You forgot our change, it doesn't cost that much Cy..." she revealed. Cyrus's jaw dropped at the overwhelming confusion.

"She's joking Cy, we know you have no idea what your doing." Walker winked. Cyrus laughed and walked off again to the order station. He put the order in and turned around to be faced with Amber herself.

"Hello Cyrus." She quickly raised and lowered her eyebrows.

"L.. Leave me alone A-Amber." Cyrus took a step backwards but collided with a wall.

"No, we're co-workers now so you have to talk to me." She smiled evilly. Cyrus's breath quickened and he looked around nervously.

"Don't worry, I'm not gonna bite. How's 'Jonah' by the way?" She smirked.

"We're good than- thanks." He stuttered.

"Did I not do a good enough job breaking you two up?" She asked.

"Wasn't it your plan to get us together?" Cyrus asked her instead.

"It wasn't my plan that Jonah would change last minute." She practically spat.

"Well isn't that just a shame, we're having a child soon now." Cyrus regained some confidence in her weakness.

"Oh really, how are they gonna deal with the bullying?" She asked.

"What bullying."

"Well they're adopted, and they're gonna have two dads." She chuckled to herself.

"They aren't adopted actually and it shouldn't matter whether they have two dads or not." Cyrus was close to shouting at her.

"Who's having the baby then?" She asked stubbornly.

"His assistant Natalie." Cyrus said with just as much stubbornness.

"Nice girl isn't she? It would be a shame if she killed this baby too!" Amber smirked.

"Shut up, she's changed now." Cyrus shouted. A few heads glanced towards the argument.

"We'll see about that Cyrus Goodman." Amber hissed into his ear and walked off. The manager of the Spoon walked out momentarily afterwards and just glared at Cyrus.

"It's your first day and you've already lost us a quarter of our customers! Your fired!" He screamed. Cyrus just sighed loudly and walked towards the exit.

"Hey what about our food Cyrus?" Andi asked.

"Sorry guys, somebody else will have to do that." Cyrus replied with a fed up tone.

"Oh Cy," andi said sympathetically.

"Hey babe." Jonah said closing the front door behind him and walking up to Cyrus wrapping his arms around his waist before kissing his neck.

"I missed you." He added.

"Not in the mood." Cyrus grunted.

"Oh no, come on and sit down in the lounge. Tell Daddy what's up." Jonah winked and dragged Cyrus to the couch.

"Well I got a job at the Spoon today," Cyrus said.

"Well that's good!" Jonah beamed.

"And then I got fired the same day." Cyrus added.

"Oh, that's bad." Jonah gulped.

"Had an argument with Amber."

"Well that's good!"

"She won." Cyrus mumbled.

"That's bad." Jonah said.

"Thanks Jonah, your really helping here." Cyrus snapped. Jonah rubbed his fingers around Cyrus's back in patterns to soothe him.

"Shh, stop being stressed." Jonah whispered.

"I'm just fed up of being stuck indoors all day Jonah." Cyrus complained.

"I need a change in scenery." He added.

"Well think about it, pretty soon your gonna have the dog to take care of an second, we have a baby on the way. Your gonna be a fantastic father, way better than I probably will be." Jonah encouraged Cyrus and kissed him.

"You know Jonah, I love you." Cyrus smirked knowing his boyfriend always made him feel better.

"Well that's good!" Jonah beamed, imitating his earlier remark.

"Shut up and kiss me." Cyrus ordered. Jonah was quick to comply and pushed his lips to Cyrus's.
