I'm feeling pretty happy with myself. The new directions were amazing at sectionals and because they won, they can compete at the regional competition in a few months. I don't sing with the choir but I'm so proud to say that I helped to make the setlist that they performed after the other teams stole their songs. I have played a lot of instruments. The piano, the guitar, the drums, every instrument to be exact. It's rare, my father hasn't hit me in weeks but I'm happy about that. My bruises are gone and some cuts are scars now. I walk up to my locker where Quinn and Finn are waiting for me.
,,There is the star." They say and give me a hug.
,,I wonder what Mr. Schue has planned for us today." Says Quinn and looks forward, dreaming.
,,Hey, how are you and Rachel?" I say and smirk. She starts blushing and I let out a little laugh.
,,We agreed to go on a date."
,,Aw, that's really cute." Marley says walking up to us. ,,Hey Finn, I've seen the sectional performance and you were really good." She smiles at him and he looks to the ground, smiling.

,,She belongs in the glee club." Finn and Quinn agree with me immediately.
,,I've never heard her sing, but she's amazing."
,,We all know you like her more than friends, Finn." Quinn sticks out her tongue and I laugh. It's funny to mess with Finn because he's hopelessly in love with Marley. And by the way, they are messing with me all the time about Chloe. We walk through the hallways, towards the choir room where Mr. Schuester is already waiting for us.
,,Because of the victory at sectionals, I have arranged something for you guys." On a table are some apple juice and hamburgers with fries. Everyone cheers and grabs a plate, including me. My father hasn't beat me up for weeks but he surely hasn't fed me enough. Finn and Quinn look at me with a worried look but don't say anything. ,,Okay, enough eating." Mr. Schuester gets up and walks over to the whiteboard.Madonna.He writes on the board. ,,What comes to mind when you see that name?" He asks the students in the room.
,,Genius." Yells Rachel and Quinn looks at her with love in her eyes.
,,Icon." Kurt says and Mercedes gives him a high five.
,,Hall of fame MILF." I look over to Puck and roll my eyes. He's always being a jerk, always thinking about looks and sex.
,,Shut up Puckerman!" Quinn says and is really angry.
,,So, we're all aware of Madonna's musical and cultural significance, which is why this week, your assignment is to come up with a Madonna number." Mr. Schue comes in between. All the girls gasp and squeal with delight. Rachel applauds and gives Quinn a wink. Mercedes and Tina are giving each other a high five. The guys aren't really enthusiastic.
