*Katy's POV*
Things were moving quickly. Both Luke and I had our shirts off but in my mind, I wasn't all there. What did he mean by that? Does he think I'm a slut because of that one night with Zach?
"Katy? Kaitlyn?" Luke's voice brought me out of the trance I was in and when I came back to reality, I heard my cell phone ringing. I pushed Luke off of me and reached to the nightstand, thankful for the excuse to stop what was happening between Luke and I. "Really? Can't that wait?"
"It's Erika. She would only call at this time if she needed me." Not really, but it was a good distraction. When I did it with Luke for the first time, I wanted to be all there, and his little comment wouldn't let me right now.
"Hey, you alright?" I answered the phone as Luke started kissing down my neck again, trying to distract me. It was working too. "What? Sorry, I couldn't hear you."
"I asked if you would come pick me up at the airport. I flew in this morning." she said casually.
"You're here? Like in Australia? What? Why?"
"I figured after the fight Ashton and I had, it would be nice to surprise him. I took the last week of school off because we're doing nothing and I came here for a bit. Now will you and Luke come pick me up from the airport?"
"Uhm, yeah, we'll be right there. But why don't you just call Ash?" I asked.
"Well, I haven't exactly apologized to him yet. So I think surprising him later, like tomorrow will be a fun way to break the ice that I'm no longer mad and that I understand everything now. Don't you think?" She explained, but I understood her real reasoning for wanting to come here so suddenly.
"It's okay to say you missed him and you just want to see him. I understand. I mean I feel the same way about Luke."
"Whut?" Luke's eyes suddenly became interested in conversation and his lips stopped placing kisses all over me.
"We need to go pick up Erika from the airport." I told him.
"When is she getting in?" He asked.
"She's here. We need to go now! Let's go!" I suddenly felt giggly. I mean, my best friend was here. I'm supposed to be totally happy. All at once, I hopped off the bed and threw on a shirt and chucked Luke's at him. "We're on our way, Ryde!" I hollered before hanging up. "Come on Luke! Put your shirt on and let's go get Erika."
"Right now?"
"Yes silly! She can't stay there forever."
He groaned before falling back against the pillows, his hands covering his face. "I'llbeavirginforeveratthisrate." he mumbled.
"What? Try speaking to me. Not your hands."
"Nothing. I didn't say anything." He threw himself off the bed and pulled on his shirt, kinda pissed off. Usually I'd stop and make him explain himself, but right now, Erika is waiting on us and I can always ask him later.
"Then let's go!"
*At the airport
"Where is she? Luke! I can't see anyone! You're tall, can you see her?" I asked, trying to jump up above the crowd like a little girl. I heard a chuckle come from behind me before Luke moved to stand in front of me and bent down a bit.
"Hop on. You'll be able to spot her more easily." With a laugh I hopped on and for the first time since our heated makeout session, I think I understood why he was so grumpy because the moment my legs wrapped around him, I missed our earlier activity.
