Charlotte POV

This elevator ride is excruciatingly long. All I wanted to do was get to my damn bed and sleep, but it was taking years. Once I finally heard the ding, I opened my eyes and started trudging towards the door.

"812, 812, 812" I kept repeating the room number until I got to the door. Reaching for my phone, I went to the cardholder, only to realize I didn't have a key. We only got two keys, and Ashley and Jenny had them.

"Damn it," I muttered to myself, "hopefully I'll be able to wake them up."

I started pounding on the door, hoping that at least one of them would wake up. "Come on guys, open up! I don't have a key!" I shouted at the door, hoping maybe my voice would wake the up.

I pressed my ear to the door, and luckily I heard shuffling. Thank god! I waited, shifting my weight, hoping that whoever woke up wouldn't be too angry with me. I finally heard the door unlocked, and I rushed towards it.

"Oh thank god, I'm so sorry I woke you up and I didn't have my key –" I was cut off when I ran straight into the wall and fell. Ouch. I mean I'm buzzed, but I definitely shouldn't be running into any walls. I looked up, only to realize that the wall I ran into was actually a shirtless guy.

He stood there, in black basketball shorts and nothing else, probably wondering what was going on. He rubbed his eyes a couple of times, and then finally opened them. He looked me up and down and said, "Who're you?"

Well I was wondering the same thing about you! His black hair was a case of major bedhead, sticking out all over the place. If it weren't 4:30 in the morning I would take more time to stare at his broad chest and big arm muscles, but his eyes, which happened to be a light blue color, looked as tired as mine, so my only goal was to figure out what the heck was going on.

"Um... I'm sorry. Are you hooking up with one of my friends?" I asked in the most polite way possible.

"What're you talking about?" His voice sounding groggy, and super attractive, but that's not the point right now!

"I was just wondering what you were doing in my room..." Looking past him I saw a dark shadow coming towards the door.

"Caleb, what's going on man?" another tired yet attractive voice said.

"I don't know Jake, you deal with it."

Immediately I looked down, feeling embarrassed and confused about this whole situation. The boy in the doorway turned to leave, and the other boy took his place.

"Well hey Birthday Girl!"

Immediately my eyes widened. No way could this be happening, not right now. Even without the thumping music, I recognized that voice. I slowly raised my head, to see bar guy, who I now know is named Jake, leaning against the doorway with a smirk on his face.

"How'd you find my room?" he asked.

"I...uh.... I didn't find your room. Th-This is my room." I stuttered, all of a sudden feeling nervous.

He let out a slight chuckle, "No, no it's not." I was about to reply but I was cut off by my phone ringing. Looking at the caller ID, I breathed a sigh of relief.

"Hey Ash-"

"Where in the hell are you? Do you know what time it is? Why are you not back at the room? What the hell Char?" I looked up to see bar guy looking at me with wide eyes, probably concerned about the girl screaming in my ear.

"Ash, just calm down. I'm literally right outside the door. I just couldn't get in because I didn't have a key," I said with a small laugh.

"Oh thank GOD! Okay just stay there, I'll come and open the door. Sorry about the yelling!" I could hear her get out of bed and open the door, but then I looked at bar guy confused, while he just softly smiled back at me, an amused look on his face.

"Charlotte, is this some kind of sick joke? You're not here." I furrowed my brows in confusion, when the realization set in.

"Ash, we're in room 812 right?"

"Yes Char, room 812 on the fourth floor. Now please just come back. If you're not here in 10 minutes, you're sleeping in the hall." That's when I heard the phone click, and my jaw hit the floor.
