Charlotte POV

The next hour was kind of a fiasco. All of us attempting to get ready, while Jenny tried to get ready while simultaneously getting me ready. Tonight I was capable of doing my own hair, letting it fall down in loose waves. Jenny was necessary for make up, making it look very similar to last nights. The mascara and black eyeliner once again made my blue eyes pop, and the smoky eye she gave me looked great as usual. I topped of the look with some lip-gloss, and gave myself one last look and nodding my head in approval.

Once my hair and makeup was done, I went to put on my outfit. I put on the light pink dress, and like last night it had a v neckline, but instead of being tight, this one flowed off my body. The front of the dress had ruffles, and fell mid-thigh. I loved the way I looked in this dress, and it complemented my tan complexion very well. I paired it with the same nude heels, and looked at the clock.

I was ready in 45 minutes, which is good timing for me, even though I was still the last one. My friends insisted I wear the sash again, because it was still my birthday, and I happily obliged. It got me free drinks last night, so maybe it'll work tonight too. After taking pictures in the room, we made our way down to the lobby.

"So are you nervous?" Ashley asked, winking at me.

"What would I be nervous for? We're all just hanging out with a group of guys. We've done this a million times."

"You just go ahead and keep on telling yourself that," she said, chuckling and shaking her head.

Right as I was about to reply, the elevator stopped and the doors opened. I stepped out of the elevator, my eyes scanning the room for Jake and his friends. My eyes landed on a group of six boys, standing by the fountain in the lobby. Sarah nudged me with her elbow, wiggling her eyebrows as we made our way over.

"Hey!" Jake yelled, and jogged over to us.

"Hey!" I replied, returning the smile on his face.

"So these are my friends, Sarah, Jenny, and Ashley," I said motioning towards each of them as they each said a small hello.

"Nice to meet you all, I'm Jake."

"Oh trust me, we know." Ashley said with a wink, and immediately my cheeks turned bright red while I glared at Ashley. She just shrugged as we made our way over to the rest of the guys. Looking at them as I walked, I realized that this was the group of guys I saw in the lobby when we checked in! I also realized that I was right, they are definitely attractive.

"Okay guys, so these are my friends! Ryder, Kyle, Aiden, Mason and – "

I cut him off, "Caleb, yeah we already met. Sorry about that."

He laughed, "That's alright, just don't let it happen again. I need my beauty sleep."

With that comment, everyone laughed. The Jake turned to his friends, "Alright and guys, this is Ashley, Jenny, Sarah, and – "

"CHARLOTTE, we know!"

My friends and laughed, while it was Jake's turn to blush.

"You guys can call me Char if you'd like."

"Thanks a lot guys," Jake whisper yelled, clearly embarrassed.

As we were leaving, Jenny stopped and looked at the fountain. "Guys, we should take some pictures in front of this! It's so pretty!" The girls and I all nodded, while the guys verbally groaned.

"And it's Charlotte's birthday!" She said, with a little more force.

"Oh yeah, pictures! We'd love to take some for you!" Aiden said, clearly intimidated.

The four of us stood in front of the fountain, while Aiden took the pictures and the other guys watched. Then, I took a picture with each of my friends individually.

"Okay Char, now one of you by yourself!" Jenny shouted while holding the camera.

"Ugh guys really?" I asked, as I suddenly felt extremely camera shy.

"Yes! Now grab your sash and look cute!"

"Hey!" Ryder said from the back, making all of us look at him, "Don't we get a picture with the birthday girl?"

I laughed, and waved the guys over. While I posed with them: Kyle, Aiden, and Ryder on my left, and Jake, Mason, and Caleb on my right. Jenny took a couple of pictures of us, and while all the guys started to walk away, Jake stayed next to me, with his hand on the small of my back.

"Can I get one with just the birthday girl?"

I nodded sheepishly, and looked at Jenny. The both of us smiled at the camera, while Jenny took the picture smiling at the phone.
