Charlotte POV

"TopGolf? You brought me to TopGolf?" I asked excitedly.

"Yeah! I figured with how much we both love sports, it could be fun!"

I smiled at him, acknowledging the thought that he put into it. "Although, I do have to let you know. Today might ruin your opinion of me," I told him seriously, as I walked through the door he was holding open.

"Why do you say that?"

"Because, I'm extremely competitive, and I don't like losing."

We made our way up to the second deck, and got ready to start. Jake types our names in, and we each take our turns shooting. I have to admit, he's got an incredible golf swing. I would never tell him that, because I'm currently losing, but there's nothing wrong with thinking it, right?

On the other hand, my golf swing was not too hot. I've only ever swung a softball bat, so a golf club was a little bit of a switch for me. It was my turn again, and I picked up the golf club and swung my hardest. I looked for where the ball went, only to realize that it was still on the tee. I heard Jake snicker behind me, and I turned and looked at him.

"What's so funny?" I snapped.

"I'm sorry, really. I didn't mean to laugh," he said, getting up. "Here, let me help you."

He stepped behind me, placing his hands on my hips and positioning them. I swear, I felt electricity run through my body the moment he touched me. Then he moved his hands and put them on top of mine, holding the club.

"Okay, you're going to bring your arms straight back," he said, raising both of our arms, "and then swing straight through the ball."

He swung both of our arms forward, and it was without a doubt, my best hit of the day. Stunned, I turned to him, "How did you get so good at this?"

He laughed, "Well, a golf swing isn't too different from a slap shot, so I guess I just learned from there," Once we had finished our game, we put away our, and after Jake had a worker take a picture of us, we headed towards the exit.

"Are you ready for our next stop?"

I nodded quickly, my eyes filled with excitement.

We pulled up, and immediately I noticed a giant light-up sign that said "Freemont Street". There were hotels and casinos all around, as well as restaurants and gift shops. There were street performers all around, doing different kinds of acts.

"Alright. You ready?"

"For what?" I asked.

He grabbed my hand, and led me towards a building that said "World's Ultimate Zipline". Jake walked up to the counter, pulled out two tickets and handed them to the worker.

"Great, you two can head on up," she said with a warm smile.

I looked at him confused, and he grabbed my hand leading me out of the building, towards an elevator. Once we had gotten to the top, I gasped. We were above Freemont Streets, just looking down at all of the people and lights. Then, I looked up, to see that the ceiling above us was lit up as well with different graphics. We walked over to the worker, and he strapped us in to the zipline.

"Y'all ready?"

We both nodded our heads, and we were off. I've always been kind of an adventure junkie, but this was incredible. I've never been ziplining, and the experience was once in a lifetime. I looked over at Jake to see that he was already looking at me and smiling. Even when we had finished and were off of the zipline, I couldn't stop smiling. I can't believe Jake had done all of this for me!

I looked over at him, "Thank you so much for all of this! Today has been incredible."

"I'm glad you're having fun, but its not over yet!"

We walked into the Golden Nugget hotel, and after a couple of twists and turns, we were standing next to a pool. In the middle of the pool was a gigantic tank, filled with sharks!

I looked at Jake, "How did you know I love sharks?"

He winked at me, saying, "I may have done my homework." He looked down at his phone, and saw it was 2:30pm. "Okay, come on. We have one more stop before we have to get back!" He ordered an Uber, and once it had arrived, we were on our way to our last stop.

The Uber stopped in front of the New York New York hotel, which was across the street from the hotel we were staying in.

"What are we doing here?" I asked Jake curiously.

"You'll see," he said, flashing me the smile that I've grown to love.

We walked into the hotel, and got on an escalator. Next thing I know, we were in line for a roller coaster. This wasn't just a regular roller coaster; this roller coaster was on top of the hotel! Once we got to the line, I whipped out my card and asked the worker for two tickets.

Once she had printed them, I told her "Thank you," and we were on our way.

"Charlotte! I wanted to pay!"

"Well, you've paid for everything today. I've had so much fun, and I at least wanted to pay for one thing. So deal with it," I said playfully.

We reached the roller coaster, and Jake seemed nervous for some reason. We went on the zipline so I know it wasn't heights. What could it be then? He turned to me and asked where I wanted to sit.

"Front car. Always choose the front car. That way, you get to see everything," I said, pulling him to the front line.

It was finally our turn, and we got into the car and pulled the lap bars down tightly.

"Ready?" he asked.

"Ready."

Being on top of the roof, experiencing the twists and turns of the roller coaster, and being able to see the entire strip down below was invigorating. When we were almost to the end, we started to go down a hill. Jake reached over and turned my head, kissing me softly. I closed my eyes, and returned the kiss. When the roller coaster came to a stop, so did we. I opened my eyes slowly, to see Jake smiling. What just happened?

We both got off of the roller coaster. We were walking past the booth where you can buy pictures, which confused me because I never saw a flash. Jake held up a finger and headed towards the booth, before returning with two bags.

"A gift for you," he said, holding one of the bags out to me. I opened the bag, and smiled when I saw its contents. It was a picture of Jake and I, kissing on the roller coaster.
