Chapter 18

A month passed by and Taehyung and Y/n became closer than ever. They spend most of their time at Taehyung's apartment watching series, movies, or simply studying. After that Noah's incident and Priya agreeing with them made Y/n little upset about it so she had been avoiding her since.

The outfits that Y/n ordered for Yeontan finally arrived and she just couldn't wait until Taehyung was done with his dishes so he would help. She tried to dress Yeontan by herself but all the little puppy did was climb on her lap and lick her face.
Y/n let out a giggle. "Baby stop it I want to dress you up."

The owner of the pup was gazing at his friend and baby interacting together making his heart warm. He had a smile in his face yearning he could pause the time. He has been requesting the same wish a lot lately spending more and more time with Y/n was all he wanted to do. He realized he was being greedy and he didn't even feel guilty keeping her away from her friends even though it was her decision not to be with her friends for a while but he didn't do anything to make her understand.

Y/n glare up noticing Taehyung looking at her with a smile in his lips.

"Stop smiling by yourself and help me." her voice came out as a whine.
Yes, he would love it if this moment would freeze forever.

It was time for Y/n to leave. She packed her things and was wearing her shoes.

"What should we do tomorrow? Go out for a movie or something else?" she asked fixing her shoes properly. She stood up and fixed her hair up.

"Anything is fine with me," Taehyung answered. She looked at him and nodded. She gave him a smile gave him a hug like always saying goodbye but she felt different. Taehyung was holding her tightly, he had his arms tightly wrapped around her shoulder and his face resting on the crook of her neck. Just at that moment, she felt his body shaking and warm liquid touching her neck.

She frowned and tried to get out of her friend's grip to see his face but she failed. His hold was too tight for her.

"Tae," she   whispered. "Are you okay?" but the boy didn't answer and started to sob loudly in her arms. All Y/n could do now was be his shoulder and let him calm down.

It took fifteen minutes for Taehyung to calm down. He pulled out of Y/n's arms, wiping off his tears.

"I am sorry, I didn't mean to it to happen." he sniffed.

"Hey, it's okay." Y/n said wiping off his remaining tears. "Are you okay now?" she asked in a low voice not wanting to make him triggered.

He gave her a nod. "I am fine. I just miss my family. It's the longest I have been away from them."

Y/n looked at him with concern, "You want me to stay?" she asked not wanting to leave Taehyung alone.

Homesickness can get the best of us and she knew how bad it could feel.
He pulls off a fake smile, "No it's okay. I will be fine." he said and Y/n didn't want to push him much so she just nodded.

"Call me if you need someone okay? I will be there," she said before hugging him again. She could feel him take a deep breath before hugging her back.

"I will be fine," he said more like to himself.
