The Nightmare On the Second Floor

Chapter 3

So Aisha and I continued to walk, talk and laugh. We got lost a couple times, but we found our way. We came up to a sign that said,

"DO NOT PASS THIS POINT"

Aisha and I looked at each other, smiled and continued passed the sign. The hospital was abandoned, and we just wanted to have fun. So we continued, walking, and walking. It was super long! But we came up to the hospital, and it wasn't abandoned. I mean, there were cars in the parking lot, people coming in and out of the hospital, and it was clearly not abandoned.

"Um......Niami? Are you sure that this is the place?" Aisha asked.

"Well I......I looked it up......it said that it was abandoned!......should we go in and still ask around for the place?" I said.

"I guess, what's the name of the hospital we need to find?" Aisha asked.

"Um......give me a sec.......sweet-minds!" I said after searching the paper up and down.

"Okay, let's just go ask and see their response."

I shrugged and we went inside. I saw a lady at the desk and I asked her if she knew where "sweet-minds" was. she stared at me, like I had just asked the most idiotic question in the world.

"Are you pulling a joke?" She asked.

"No miss. We just wanted to know where it is." Aisha said.

"Are you serious?? You're in sweet-minds!" The lady at the desk said.

"What??" Aisha and I screamed.

The lady at the desk rose from her chair.

"If this is your way of pulling something, I suggest you get out this minute!"

She pushed a button and two guys came, picked us up and threw us out! Well more like sat us in the ground outside, but still, that hurt! All I wanted to do was have fun, maybe I printed out the wrong address or something. I looked at Aisha, she shrugged and suggested that we go home. I nodded, and we began walking. But something caught my eye. Maybe it was a small animal, but something white was moving behind the bush. Aisha saw it too, because she held my arm. We walked over slowly, my heart was racing! I was hoping and praying that it wasn't Mya. We slowly pulled back the top layer of the bush, and we saw her! Mya! She was eating an animal! Aisha and I looked at each other, I don't think Mya saw us, Aisha and I ran all the way back home. We ran inside, and immediately started locking the doors, windows and anything that Mya could use to break in. Our parents just stared, after we finished they asked us what happened. I told them everything, from when we walked so long, to when we came across the hospital, to what happened inside the hospital, to what we saw behind the bushes. There was dead silence. No one spoke or made a sound. We all were terrified. We had no idea what to do next. My dad rose out of his chair,

"Tomorrow we are all going to that hospital, first I am going to talk with that lady who threw you out, and then we can ask her a couple questions to see if that was the hospital Mya was accepted into."

We all nodded, and then left the table. Aisha and I went to my room, just to talk about what happened. But when we sat down, we heard a knock downstairs! No one moved, I slowly crept downstairs, everyone looked at the door, dad slowly walked over to the door and looked out the peephole, Mya was standing there! Dad froze, he didn't make a sound, nothing happened. We all just stood there, while the knocking continued.
