15. Baby

Jaden's Point of View

"Why are you crying?" Bryce asks again as they were walking towards us since we are in front the entrence.

"I don't want to talk about it." She sobs as we follow her inside.

"Come one Rye, tell us what happened." I say. I think I'm the last person she will listen to but at least she'll see that I care.

"Is everything okay?" Griffin comes from the kitchen. "Wow, Rye." He states as he grabs the baby from Rye's hands.

Rye is full on crying. This isn't a stress breakdown, something happened to her.

"I'm sorry, guys, I don't want you to see me like this. I was doing so good." Rye cries. My chest felt tight by her words.

"It's okay. You can tell us anything." Griffin says. Rye looks so broken, even Anthony is worried and everyone who knows Anthony is aware he doesn't care about anything.

"I had a bad argument with Joshua and Audrey, Hunter's mom."

"Wait... did you steal this baby?" Bryce asks. I'm asking myself the same thing. If they had an argument with her why would they let her take the baby?

"Of course not." She shook her head. "It's complicated."

Flash Back
Rye's Point of View

I'm on my way to pick up Hunter from Joshua's house. The baby is staying over the night with me because Audrey has a nightshift and Joshua has a night rehearsal that will end later than usual and it's two hours away from my house. It will be an interesting night because Hunter had his shots today and babies get fuzzy and sick.

I don't knock because I have the house password and fingerprint.

I started wander around the house searching for Joshua. He's most likely in his room. Have I mentioned how beautiful this house is? I would kill to live here or somewhere this nice. Instead, I live with three boys who come into my room to change in front of my mirror (because apparently is better than theirs) and then leave their clothes on my floor. But god forbid if I leave something in their room!!

There was some kind of noise coming from Joshua's room. I opened the door quickly and my heart immediately stopped.

I caught Audrey pushing Joshua to his bed and they looked like they were about to kiss. Their child is in this room... what the fuck?

"Rye... oh my God I'm-"

"I just came to pick Hunter." I say quietly. I don't want to deal with this. My heart hurts so much. It's that feeling of being in so much pain that you rather leave it alone. This is so disappointing.

"Baby, I can explain."

"I don't want to hear it." I sigh feeling like I'm about to cry.

"Baby? Wait, what?" Audrey asks. This is a mess. I want to go.

"She doesn't know?" I ask Joshua. "How was I going to tell her? She's my sons mother." He says.

"Know what?"

"That we're dating." I blurt out. Audrey gasps and acts hurt by my words. "So you take care of my son to fuck my baby daddy?" Audrey is so angry. I'm afraid she'll want to beat my ass.

"No. Don't yell at me, because this isn't my fault he should've told you and not hook up with you." I snap at them. I'm probably about to lose both of my jobs so fuck this.

"I wasn't hooking up with her." Joshua defends himself. "Do you think I'm fucking stupid?" I laugh ironically.

"I don't need another Jaden. I thought you were different."
