Rye's Point of View

"I wasn't talking to you." Joshua fires back at Jaden. Has this man lost his mind?

"Excuse me?"

Jaden has been waiting to have beef with Joshua, it's pretty obvious but I hope Joshua keep his mouth shut because Jaden doesn't know how to manage his anger and God knows what could happen if this gets out of hand.

"If you're going to act tough at least look at me when you speak." Jaden says aggressively.

"Ignore him." I tell Joshua but he decided to turn around anyway and face Jaden.

"No- You're disrespectful towards everyone and what you said about Rye was wrong. Grow up dude."

Joshua isn't a fighting guy, I don't think he has ever got into a fight with another man before. I really don't know why he's doing this in front of his child or at all!

"Alright guys, stop it." Griffin gets in the middle of them because Jaden didn't hesitate to walk closer to Joshua and try to throw a fist at him.

I'm trying to dress Hunter in peace but these guys want to turn my room into wrestling ring. Unacceptable.

"I'm not going to fight him, I don't act like a sixteen year old." Joshua says. "Then shut your mouth!" Jaden tries to reach him but he was pushed back my Griffin and Bryce.

"I'm leaving." I mumble carrying the baby out of the room. "Both of you are out of line." I yell walking down the stairs.

I don't want to be involved in this situation nor I want Hunter to be in there when his dad gets his ass whooped by Jaden. I know Joshua doesn't want to look like a pussy and it's standing up from Jaden but he doesn't know what he's getting himself into. Sometimes you need to be the bigger person; and that sometime is right now.

Jaden's Point of View

"Jaden, stop!" Bryce shouts as he grabs me by the arms. "You're acting like an animal."

"All of you act like wild animals." Joshua dares to open his mouth. "You guys have a lady living with you and still act this way? What is wrong with you?"

"What is this? A life lesson?" I snap at him.

"Well you need one." Joshua sighs. He's scared of me, I can hear the fear in his voice every time he speaks. Makes me wonder, why would he provoke me just to back away when I react?

"You're a mess dude, this is why she's with me." I wish I could strangle him. How dare him say that?

"Yeah, that's why she fucked me?" I tried to escape from Bryce grip but he's way stronger than me even though I'm taller.

"Dude." Griffin yells in my face. Screaming at me only makes me angrier.

"Don't talk about her like that." Joshua says is disgust.

"Are you guys done?" I hear Rye yell.

Something about her soothing voice softens me. My knees feel weak and I'm no longer fighting against Bryce's grip. She spoke and my brain suddenly shut down. I felt blood running through my veins again and air coming in my lungs.

I ask Bryce to let go of me and promised I wouldn't do anything. I turned my back at them and made my way down stairs where Rye is standing holding Hunter. She looks broken and disappointed, I feel terrible. We looked at each other without saying anything but speaking a million words through the silence at the same time. I know the boys are watching from the top of the stairs, as if I'm going to do anything against Rye; I'm not capable of that. I've done enough.
