Jaden's Point of View

I haven't had a decent sleep in a long time, but sleeping with Rye last night completely changed that. Rye calms me which confuses me because she's also the person who drives me insane.

I'm supposed to be going out with her and help her find an apartment. I'm at her house waiting for her but she's taking a little longer than I expect.

"Didn't you say Rye was supposed to be home by now?" Griffins asks me. We are in the living room playing video games with Bryce and Josh while smoking a blunt at the same time.

"Yeah."

"Are you going out with her or something?" Bryce asks. "Yeah." I repeat. "Where?" The three of them ask at the same time as if it's any of their business.

"She's getting something." I say. Rye doesn't want them to know about this so I will have to lie. "Getting what?"

"Dude, why don't you ask her?" I snap. "Okay I'll ask her." Bryce rolls his eyes.

Groupchat: i hate all of you

bryce: rye what are you doing

riann: im about to go home and pick up jaden

griff: why arent we invited :(

riann: because i dont like you <3

"She's funny." Bryce says shaking his head and laughing a little.

ant: im not even there and i want to go

bryce: at least tell us where u goin

Bryce is only asking so many questions because he's probably jealous. He's has never really been overprotective with Rye but I think that after all that has happened between Rye and I, he feels like he needs to protect her from me. They probably think I'm the reason she wants to leave but in reality it isn't, Bryce let's people disrespect Rye in her own house and let's people come over who she doesn't like, I've been involved but I don't live here, Bryce, Griffin or Josh should be in control of that. They wouldn't like Rye bringing Kio or Tayler to the house.

riann: what do we say?

She texted me privately.

Me: say were going on a date, even tho we arent

riann: ok

Groupchat: i hate u all

riann: im taking j on a date

"What?" Josh asks looking at his phine and we all started to laugh. I immediately went on my private chat with her.

me: dumbass

riann: I GOT NERVOUS SORRY

I'm now with Rye and Hunter. Like always she's making me drive her car.

"So, I spoke to my stepdad- well ex stepdad."

"You did?"

"He wants to help me with the new place, monetary, because he wants me to get a safe place." She says. "I still don't know how to feel about him but I'm glad he wants to help."

Rye is a forgiving person. Our situation is a great representation of how kindhearted this girl actually is, she finds the good in everyone. Unless your name is Olivia, you have no other way.
