39. Cheating

Rye's Point of View

"It looks better than ever." I say admiring Griffin's room. Bryce and I woke up at a decent time and cleaned the whole thing. We found a bottle of pills, twenty pills to be exact. Alongside with some weed and alcohol. If the police investigates this place, they'd be fried. Luckily they told the hospital he got drugged at a party so no extreme measures will be taken by the authorities towards Griffin or any of the boys.

I had a lovely chat with Sierra this morning on the phone. She should be at the hospital right now if I'm not mistaken and will bring Griffin home when he gets discharged which shouldn't take too long.

"I'll get rid of these." I refer to the plastic bag with the illegal substances in it. Before Bryce could say anything, a noise coming from down stairs caught our attention, meaning that Jaden and Anthony might have arrived.

I followed Bryce downstairs and met the boys in the living room. They've already made themselves comfortable on the coach next to Josh who's playing video games.

"Good morning." I say, distracting them from the TV. "I thought the girls were coming too."

"Mads didn't want to miss her first class, she'll be here later and Addison said that she's going to wait for Mads and bring food on the way here." Jaden explains.

"M'kay." I mumble. "Did you bring your car?" I ask him and he nodded. "Can I use it? I want to go home for a bit."

"Yeah, your keys and your suitcases are in there. I took them from Addi's car." Thank fuck he did, I forgot I left literally everything in her car yesterday. "Angel!" I sang, getting on my knees as the puppy ran towards me.

"Oh no, who let her in?" Bryce says and Josh smiled widely. "I feel bad having her in the backyard all the time. I'll buy whatever she breaks."

"She's a good girl." I giggle. "Anyways I'm leaving. Can I have the keys?" I stood up and Jaden did too.

"I'll walk you to the car." He walks past me. Oh-kay?

"You know usually when people say they're going to walk you out, they actually walk besides you." Bryce comments, the boys and I laugh but Jaden continued to open the door and leave. "Someone got their panties on a twist." Anthony rolls his eyes.

Why is he even mad for?

I said goodbye to the boys and walked out of the house to find Jaden next to his car waiting for me.

"What's that?" He asks pointing at the plastic bag. "Trash..."

"Are you mad at me or something? I don't remember doing anything to you and you're acting indifferent."

"No, I thought you were mad at me."

We always do this. Assume each other's feelings wrongfully and get upset about it.

"I'm not mad mad. I don't like the fact that you hid all this from me but you already said why, which doesn't make it better but I understand. Thanks Bryce for that though, he made me realize I was overreacting."

"Okay, so you're still my girlfriend?" He asks with a cheeky smile appearing on his face. He think I'd say no to him?

"Oh you thought you were getting rid of me?" I joke, getting closer to him and he places his hands on both sides of my hips. "Good luck with that, I'm not going anywhere." I placed a kiss on his lips and he smiles between mine.

"I love you, okay? Nothing could ever change that." I whisper on his lips. "I love you too Riann."

There's only one reason I can think of for me to ever leave this man and it's cheating. Nothing else can make me fall out of love for him. These are only bumps in our relationship, it happens when we had a toxic past and we're trying to start over.
