Is that really the..

Killer bunny?

The sentence repeated inside my mind for a good few seconds until I was brought back to reality with a loud whine from Jun Myeon's bedroom.

I checked on him to make sure he was asleep, and sat on the couch. I got suspicious when I realized the man looked the exact same when that day while talking to Jimin where I spotted a silhouette.

Chills traveled down my spine, my heartbeat increased and I broke into cold sweat. Was I imagining all these or am I really in reality?

Without thinking, I put on my sneakers and headed outside closing the door behind me. The cold breeze brushed past me which made my hair into a mess. I sighed and raked a hand through my hair, fixing it and placed a few strands of my brown hair behind my ear.

[ Author's POV ]

Minseo watched him suspiciously and continued to stalk towards him, but giving a few meters distance between them so that he doesn't become alert.

She didn't know why she was following him. She didn't know who she was following. She didn't know if it was even right to stalk him. But Minseo was clear with one sentence.

It was surely the killer bunny.

The man's back resembled her of someone. She didn't want to guess who it was but knew she knew him. Minseo inaudibly sighed once again and hid behind trees and tiny bushes to make sure he doesn't notice her presence.

It was a walk for almost 15 minutes and her legs gave up on her. She knew it was only 15 minutes since she had stared to follow him but the man didn't seem to stop walking and Minseo didn't give up too.

Soon after another 10 minutes of walking, the man stopped and turned his head behind him.

It seemed like he was eyeing up and down at someone. Minseo glared at him cautiously and rotated her head towards the area he was looking at. Her eyes squinted. There was another person. Staring back at him. It looked like..a girl.

She wore a pair of dark shorts which were sticking onto her thighs along with some loose sleeve t-shirt. It looked familiar to Minseo too.

Both of these two individuals looked well-known to her and each other.

Minseo was brought back to reality when she heard them speak. "Did you get it?" "Yes." "Well here you go." Was all Minseo heard. Before she could make out other sentences, her attention was towards the lady's hand. She handed the guy something. Money. And then when the guy gave her something in return, blood was dripping down from the package.

Minseo's eyes widened. Her heartbeat had increased. She could hear it pounding against her skin. Minseo tried to breath more clearly but the more she tried, the more it got worse.

But Minseo made a mistake there. She breathed. But loudly. Both of them turned their heads towards the source of the sound. Immediately without any second thoughts, Minseo cursed under her breath and concealed herself behind a big tree. There were bushes on either sides of the tree so she didn't have to worry if they saw her figure but had to worry if they walked over to her and found her.

Minseo this time cautiously put her hands over her mouth to make sure she doesn't breath loudly again. "Did you hear that?" The lady asked.

"I did." He replied.

"Anyway maybe it was just those cats we see every night and also.." Minseo halted.

Every night?

They meet every night? Thought Minseo.

She was too involved into the cats that she didn't get to listen to what they were talking.

"You have a month. If you don't finish the work in a month, I will kill her and kill you along with her corpse. You understand?" She threatened the man and sighed heavily. Minseo mentally nagged at herself when she realized she hadn't been listening to their serious conversation and was wondering about cats. She silently slapped herself.

Who are they going to kill?

Minseo peeked her head through one side of the tree and saw the woman throwing the bag into her car. The man standing beside her was staring down at the road, fiddling with his hands and Minseo could spot his eyes shining.

Is he crying? Minseo suspected. Minseo really couldn't see the man's face because the bunny mask was covering his entire face. Even his neck.

"Oh come on! Don't cry now I've given you the money. If you kill her soon, you'll be paid double!" She squealed.

The male nodded his head slightly and kept staring at the floor. The lady looked impatient with his actions and held his chin, lifting it up and looking straight into his glistening eyes.

"Listen here if you want to quit then you can just kill this one person and I'll let you go. You can go anywhere you what to. I'll not disturb you anymore. I want her dead. End of topic." Her eyes pierced through his innocent spirit and the human being gulped, bobbing his head up and down.

[Minseo's POV]

I gulped copying the man's actions and stood up slowly when the woman had left in her car. I could spot the man. He pushed a hard and a heavy long sigh out of his mouth and walked towards my direction. Realizing he was coming towards me, I sighed and my body slid through the tree. It was as if I was a part of the tree now.

After I was done with escaping from the man's view, I sat down again on the grass.

Who were they going to kill?
