The few days after my dinner with Robert and his family blurred by. With a mixture of a few final remarks on the script - even though we were all certain it was complete - and balancing kindergarten, my days went by too quickly.

We were also approaching Christmas and I had way to many gifts to be shopping for. I've already spent close to a thousand dollars on Sawyer alone. But it was money well spent because I knew just how happy the little gifts would make her.

This holiday was always my favorite. I loved giving her an endless stream of gifts just because of how much I love her.

Giving gifts to my friends and family was a win too. I just loved the holiday spirit.

Friday afternoon, just six days after the Marvel celebration, the final scripts went out to the cast. While most of them didn't have a complete script, and some had a few fake ones. Either way, I had a stream of text messages from work friends congratulating me on the script and expressing their excitement for the filming of the movie.

A majority of the conversations I held were with Marvel veterans, and a few new numbers that I didn't have before. Zoe Saldana being one of them, alongside a few of her costars.

It had been an incredibly humbling day to say the least.

But now I stood outside my house by the gate, watching as the school bus brought my little girl home.

It was a warmer day for December in Cali, but the breeze was cool. Still, I crossed my arms as I waited.

As soon as the doors opened on the bus she came barreling out at full speed; her backpack bouncing up and down as she ran. Bird started whining as he saw his friend.

"Mommy, mommy, guess what?" She yelled.

I laughed and opened the gate, then hugged her back when she attacked the lower half of my body. "What?"

"Today at recess we were playing games and and and we were playing tag and I was it and I was running and I falled!"

"Oh no, how did you falled?"

"I think because my shoe isn't tied but then Miss Avery helped me and tied it all up but it was too squeezy and not like you do it." Sawyer complained as we walked into the house. Bird was walking alongside Sawyer happily, with his tail wagging fast.

"Well not everyone can be as perfect as mommy, can they?"

"Except for Santa!" I watched as she put her bag down and marched into the kitchen. "I learned about him from Makayla at school. Did you know he's magic?"
