Hitting more than just the waves, Maeve takes the scene by storm.

It seems that Marvel is not only her strong suit. The green light has just been lit for a Netflix show, co written by Maeve Obrello and Freddie Adelstein. The writing duo have a long shared past, both of them worked together at SNL in 2010.
This new Netflix show is bound to be a hit. While we are not entirely sure what the show will be about, the 9 million dollar empire has invested a six figure commission to both writers for their work. Set to begin production at the end of the summer, casting calls have only just begun.
We can only be sure of one thing. Maeve Obrello is a force to be wreck-in with and this is only just the beginning.
E! News sat down with the young woman to discuss her writing, Marvel, and of course what everyone wants to know, balancing work life with mother hood. Obrello has a daughter who is only four years old. How can she balance it all? Let her tell you, click the video below!

Obrello: "I think that being a mother is what makes managing my life so easy. She has taught me how to juggle a million things in one hand. Writing as been my passion since I was a child, but it wasn't until her that it felt like a career. Everything I do, I do for her."

Obrello: "I am incredibly vocal about my belief in climate change. I think that with the growing platform I have, it is my responsibility. I believe that if I weren't to, if I kept quiet about my views, then I wouldn't deserve the platform I have come to have. If I don't use my voice then why bother having one?"

Obrello: "Working with Marvel has been my absolute dream. I am still so shocked that Robert Downey Jr found me, a little old intern, and brought me into this world. Marvel has become such a home to me. I've made friends that I never even dreamed of. It's opened up a world to me and to my daughter specifically, that I never thought I would be able to have."
