( Happy birthday Jungkook. Enjoy your party while it lasts. ~ said the onlooker from outside who were keeping an eye out for the right time to make a move. He thinks he can leave me and be happy? I'll show him how much he's gonna regret leaving me. )

Jungkook and his hyungs clinked their cups together as the hyungs said their toasts of well being and love for his birthday, all eyes turned to Jimin who's cheeks were now equally pink "Your turn Jimin, do you have anything to say to Jungkook?" Jin hyung asked looking at the shy boy who finally gained courage to meet the hyungs staring at him before his eyes met the singer's big doe eyes, He took a deep breath as to not mess up and embarrass himself and he raised his glass "To Jungkook, thank you for caring about me now even though you weren't always caring. Thank you for .. saving my life, twice you have no idea how much that means to me. And thank you for showing me that.. falling in love is possible....."

The singer's eyes met the smaller's and it felt as if time slowed down before Jimin blushed averting his gaze for a couple of seconds regaining his confidence. "I wish you have the best birthday today and hope you get everything you'll ever want. along with all the happiness in the world because you deserve it. Happy birthday Jungkook." The dancer said shyly as he finished his toast, all the hyungs were taken aback processing the information in his toast as Jin picked up on his message underlying before the rest of the members did and he clapped his hands together "Awwwwwww! Jungkook, what do you say?" Jin hyung asked looking between the two in awe, the other members subtly confused by what was happening. Jungkook's eyes met Jimin's as his features softened and his smile formed that of fondness and an underlying emotion for the dancer.

"Thank you Jimin, and I appreciate you guys doing this for me, really." Jungkook spoke as they all clinked cups again drinking their shots, Jimin smiled softly as he was enjoying himself for it being the third time him being here. About three rounds later everyone's already feeling nice. "So, I'm gonna step out for a second I'll be right back." Namjoon said and Jin got up following him, Jungkook's phone started to ring and he got up to hear better over the music. Jimin felt light headed and he got up to go to the bathroom but he and Jungkook collided and his soju spilled all over the dancer's outfit causing him to gasp, the singer's eyes widened and he placed his phone down "Jimin I'm so sorry, I did not even mean to do that. Please forgive me." He pleaded looking at him, Jimin was silent for a while and then Jungkook bit his lip "Jimin..? Are you mad at me?" Jungkook asked warily looking at him as he hesitantly reached his hand out to touch him.

Jimiin's features softened and he smiled at the singer who was silently thankful "No worries, it was an accident.. however my clothes are wet and I'm going to be sticky-" "You can wear my clothes. Take a shower, feel better." The singer blurted out shyly. Jimin blushed before he averted his gaze "I-I'd like that." He whispered after a while "Happy birthday to you.." Jungkook turned around to see the hyungs come in with a two layer ice cream cake with 17 on top of it and his eyes watered, Jimin joined them in singing to Jungkook. "Happy birthday to you... Sarahaewa Jungkookie. Saeng-il Chu-Ka Hamnida..!" They all sung in unison, Jungkook smiled warmly at them as he started to cry and they all smiled at him "Awwww! don't cry Jungkook!" Hoseok cooed "Make a wish kookie, it's your special day." Jin and Namjoon said encouragingly, the maknae took a breath looking at all of them before he closed his eyes and made a wish

I wish.. Jimin knew how important he is to me, or how important he's about to be after I make up to him for our past.~

Jungkook blew out the candles and his hyungs all clapped before jin and Namjoon did the honors of placing ice cream cake on his face kissing his forehead as a sign of love, Jimin placed a drop of the icing on his cheek and he looked into his eyes. "H-Happy birthday Jeon.." Jimin whispered as his plush pink lips curved into a smile taking in his features and Jungkook blushed watching the hyungs go into the kitchen with the cake before acting on his feelings.

The smaller ginger haired boy gasped, breath hitching as his now widened eyes fixated on the sight in front of him; Jungkook keeping eye contact with him while sucking the icing off his fingers. Jimin's heart must've frozen before kickstarting as he watched him with shocked eyes, yet there was also another emotion in him from seeing the singer doing this. Jungkook finished licking the icing off his fingers and he continued his confidence act gripping the smaller wrists pulling him close as he leaned down to his ear breathing against it gently "This may be lewd, but I... wanted to taste you." Jimin's cheeks darkened and he slowly brought his eyes to look at Jungkook who smirked lightly at him "J-Jeon don't say things you're going to regret. You don't have feelings for me, at least none you're known for having." The smaller said biting his bottom lip, the singer couldn't help the twinge of hurt he'd gotten from hearing Jimin talk about how he used to be.

Jungkook's hands traveled from his wrists to his cheeks and their eyes met in surreal silence "Jimin... If there's anything I know for certain it's that I was a dick and I made mistakes, my biggest mistake was how I was towards you. But.. do you want to know why?"

Don't tell him, DONT confess.

Jimin took a shaky breath clasping his small fingers around Jungkook's hands "W-Why...." the smaller asked, Jungkook blushed and bit his lip caressing the smaller's squishy cheeks with his thumbs "It's because... I-.." "Hey guys here's the cake!" Jungkook heard his hyungs coming and for a moment he didn't bother letting go of Jimin's face, then he sighed softly and kissed his forehead with the gentlest lingering touch releasing his hold turning around to see the plates of cake "Jimin here's yours, Jungkook here's yours." Jungkook nodded at them and gave Jimin his, making contact as he started to eat his cake. The members all sit around listening to music and chatting.

An hour later.. Yoongi yawned after their celebration and he got up ruffling Jungkook's hair earning a smile from the younger "I gotta go to work, I'll see you guys tomorrow afternoon. Happy birthday Kookoo San." Yoongi said and Hoseok looked up at him getting the hint to go with him "Jungkookie I gotta go, I love you. Enjoy the rest of your birthday." Hoseok said kissing his forehead as they left. Jungkook smiled at them and Jimin's heart twinged in awe. Namjoon and Jin looked at each other before getting up simultaneously "Jungkook, Namjoon and I are gonna spend time at Joon's parents house." Jin said and Jungkook's eyes widened before his smile turned into a smirk getting up to hug them both "Enjoyy, hyungs." He said with a smile, they returned the hugs and helped to clean their mess before they went to their shared room to get their clothes ready.

Jungkook watched them go upstairs as he went to the kitchen with the dishes to clean them, Jimin followed him with little hesitation just watching the muscles on his back contract and extract as he placed the dishes in the sink "Jimin are you gonna keep staring at my back or are you going to come accompany me?" Jungkook asked causing the latter to blush, Jungkook smiled as he felt the heat behind him knowing Jimin came towards him.

Jimin places his hands over jungkook's hand drying every dish he was washing and putting them away, every time their fingers collided Jungkook's heart spazzed causing him to be shy. Jimin knew he felt the same way, they were almost finished with the dishes when Jimin looked up at Jungkook already lost in his beautiful doe eyes. The singer flickered his eyes over to the smaller who panicked and averted his eyes. The dishes were finished and the singer and dancer were greeted by the hyungs who all came to see Jungkook before they left, Yoongi and Hoseok were leaving together "Jungkook we'll see you tomorrow okay? Take it easy." Hoseok said and Jungkook nodded giving them another hug as they left the house, then it was Namjoon and Jin "Jungkookie, happy birthday. We love you, we will be back in a couple days. And Jimin it was lovely seeing you again." Namjoon said to jungkook's surprise "If you need anything, call us!" Jin said as they left the house with bags of clothes in them. Jungkook closes the door behind them and Jimin takes that time to go to the bathroom, he turns the warm water on stripping out of his outfit stepping inside and rinsing the soju off his body. Jungkook locked the front door behind him as he cleaned the rest of the living room and kitchen after the little party they had going to his room and picking out clothes for Jimin, a light blush covering his cheeks as he settled on his oversized shirt and the boxers Jimin could wear since it's hot.

Jungkook, do not fall in love with Jimin this is what I've been trying to keep you from doing.

Maybe I don't want to hear what you have to say, because Jimin is very cool and he's always there for me. Your words are irrelevant.
