M-"I don't know...I'm..I'm exausted...I've tried to rest, and sleep, and love..as you told me..and it was working."
Dr.-"So what happened next?"
M-"I ruined everything...my mother came telling me that she had left my father, because he was abusive, and I got mad at whoever told me that...even the girl who was really helping me...I ruined everything cheating on her, and now she's gone, forever... doesn't work anymore think about death..."
Dr.-"You still belive that you father wasn't abusive?"
M-"He was strict, but I won a gold medal because of my dad..."
Dr.-"Yes, it's true, YOU won a gold medal. But because of you. Because you are strong. You didn't need him to become a firefighter, you didn't need him to become captain. Am I wrong?"

She took a deep breath. She grabbed her hair tight in a tail and started to cut. When she stopped, the hair was long until the chin. But in her eyes you could see something, something that had never been there before...Maya. There was her and only her.

Jack walked into the room right after.
M-"I was so stupid, everyone saw the truth about my dad except me.."
J-"You know, It's how these things usually go"
M-"I've ruined the best relationship I've never had because of him..."
J-"You could apologize"
M-"That's too late for that, wait too late..."
J-"You'd be surprised how far an I'm sorry can get you"
M-"...I'm sorry, Jack..."
Jack smiled to her, and before he left, said
J-"Hair looks kinda cool!"
Carina's office
Carina was sitting at her desk, trying to not think about Maya, but thinking about her brother.
