[22] Nightmares

Carina

I wake up because I feel Maya moving in the bed.
She's dreaming about something, and she seems scared...

M-"No...please, no..."

Damn it, what can I do now?

M-"Dad no! Leave us alone!"

She's almost screaming...

Okay, that's enough, I gotta do something...

I slowly approach her, and hug her..
I try to stroke her hair saying

C-"Hey baby...I'm here, I'm here...is everything okay!"

She wakes up scared and when she see me, she holds me and starts crying.

C-"Calm down, baby, it's okay...did you dream about your father?"

M-"Y-yes..."

She tells me between sobs...

M-"It was so realistic...he...he was angry with me and my brother, because we were agree with our mother for leaving him...I felt like I went back in time..."

C-"Oh...sweetheart...come here...now it's over, it's all over...it was just a dream..."

When I finally calm her down I look at the clock and it's 10 a.m.

We'll get up and have breakfast...

C-"I have to go back to work today, I start my shift at 2 p.m.
What do you have to do?"

M-"Me too, I start at 3 p.m.
But we sleep together tonight?"

She tells me, taking a bite of her toast with jam.

C-"Sure, but now if I don't go to shower I'll be late, you can slowly finish your breakfast."

I'll give her a kiss on the forehead and go take a shower.

Maya

Today I woke up really sad...I slept very badly, I probably had nightmares all night, although I only remember the last one...

Luckly Carina was there...I don't know what I'd do without her...

And just as I'm thinking about her, she comes out of the bathroom completely naked..

C-"Sorry, I forgot my clean clothes here."

C-"I take my shower quickly, so I'm not, why?"

She says, leaving me a sweet kiss, and then she runs to the bedroom to finish getting ready.
