Today while I was driving Maya home, I made a decision.

After a shower I get ready and go to work.

I have the day off, but Carina has to work, so when I get home I decide to relax a bit and read a book.

I'm in bed and I'm going to fall asleep when I recive a message.

C-"Hey beautiful...I need to tell you something, can I call you?"

M-"Sure"

I answer

C-"Yesterday when I came to pick you up, Warren proposed me something..and, I accepted.
Tomorrow morning I'll be on the PRT with him!"

I'm surprised...

M-"Really?"

C-"Yes, I'm sorry if I didn't warn you...It was a last minute idea..."

M-"Hey baby, if that's what you want I'm happy, I just hope that I can work knowing that I always have you there with me!"

C-"Perfect, now I gotta go, Dr. Bailey want to see me, I love you, beautiful"

M-"I'm going to sleep, see you tomorrow, I love you too"

The next day

At 7 a.m. I'm out of the station

Ben is already there, waiting for me

He give me my uniform, and makes me do the PRT tour.

At 8 a.m. the guys of the station start coming, I see Maya...I don't know why but I'm so excited to work with her.

We're all having breakfast in the kitchen, Maya is sitting next to me and she's laughing and joking with her team.

I feel good, they are all kind to me.

I had just finished, when sound the alarm.

Here we go! It's our turn!

The call is about a woman, unresponsive, it was the six-year-old son who called 911.
In a few mitunes we're on scene.

Miller breaks down the door.

The woman was lying on the floor, and the baby was there doing CPR, as 911 probably explained to him.

C-"You did good, honey, now let us do it!"

L-"But the lady on the phone said I shouldn't stop"

B-"Trust us, we have to check on mom's heart"

We hear a voice coming out of the phone that says

"You were so good Liam, now let the paramedics help Mommy"

Liam gets up and we take care of the mother.

We get her on the PRT and work on her for 10 minutes, When someone has a cardiac arrest, every minute without CPR and defibrillation reduces their chances of survival by 7-10%

The chance of survival from out-of-hospital cardiac arrest can be increased two-to-threefold by the immediate provision of bystander CPR.

AEDs are known to drastically boost survival rates of out-of-hospital cardiac arrests. Defibrillation within 3-5 min can produce survival rates as high as 50%-70%.
Warren asks me to intubate her and honestly it's been a while since I've done it..

When we finally got the pulse we go to the hospital.

It was crazy, I still have adrenaline all over my body...

Ben looks at me smiling

W-"Is everything okay?"

C-"Yes, I'm fine! I like this vehicle"

We arrive at the hospital.

Maya who had already arrived, opens the door and helps us to bring down the stretcher with Owen Hunt.

The patient is taken away and I'll stay watching Carina.

There's a strange light in her eyes
She looks happy but there's something else.

M-"Is everything ok?"

C-"Sure, I'm fine!"

M-"Okay, see you at the station"

She said giving me a kiss.

When I arrived at the station I realized I had blood on my uniform because when the woman fell, slammed her face making herself a cut on her head.

B-"Go take a shower, I'll clean up here."

I hear Maya say

M-"Okay guys, I'm going to my office, I've got some work to do"

Then she comes to me

M-"You take a shower in my office."

C-"As you wish, my captain"

She go up to her office and I follow her right after.

She locks the door of her office and starts kissing me banging on that door that has already seen this contact other times.

We undress each other up and keep kissing until we get to the bathroom.

Maya opens the shower water, and when it's hot we come in.
