[14] Surprises

Carina

Maya and I didn't see each other today..

I went to see Andrea, and she had to work and then go out with Andy.

It's crazy, but I already miss her.

In a short time she became so important to me...

Even if I try not to worry about her, every time she's at work, I'm afraid I might never see her again.

And the idea totally terrifies me.

Since she apologized,
She's always the one who organized me wonderful surprises.

And now I think it's my turn to organize something nice for her.

But what?

It takes me a while, but then I get an idea.

I search on the internet what I need and in the meantime I'll send a message to her.

C-"Hey beautiful, do you work tomorrow morning or evening?"

M-"Morning"
She answers.

Perfect, we could see the sunset too!

C-"Okay, I'd like to take you somewhere tomorrow."

M-"Okay baby, where?"

C-"I can't tell you, it's a surprise."

I call the number I found on the Internet, a guy named Felix, and I make an appointment with him for this afternoon.

After meeting him and seeing what he was offering, I couldn't resist.

Maya and I, on a romantic big boat, watching the sunset and then the stars.
I can't wait, I'm so excited!

Now I want to thank my dad for getting me my boat license.

There's also another thing I'd like to do with her, she probably never tried it, and I haven't done it in a long time.

It's gonna be a really fun night.

So I call an old friend, and after I get what I need from her, it's now evening,
I go to buy the last things, beers, and some junk food like candy, chips and sweets of all kinds.

We're gonna need it!

I think smiling.
I'll think about dinner later.

Getting home I call her

I went out with Andy after work today.

I've been missing hanging out with her...
Ever since I became a captain, things haven't been so good between us.

But lately we came close to each other, and I couldn't be happier.

We spend the evening talking and drinking.

I tell her about Carina, and she tells me about Sullivan.

It's still weird for me think they're married, but she seems to be really in love with him and happy, so I'm happy for her!

A-"So, I told you, apologizing can be helpful!"
She says, a bit drunk.

I realize I'm a little bit drunk too when my phone rings.

It's Carina, I tell Andy I'm going out to answer and I'll be right back.

M-"Heeey baby!"

I sad, maybe too enthusiastic.
