Kasalukuyan kaming papasok sa isa pang Hotel ni Daddy kung saan gaganapin ang after Party. Kami ang mag-occupy ng buong 12th floor until tomorrow. May breakfast at swimming pa kasi bukas. Kahit na may pool kami sa bahay, the pool in our house is nothing compared to the Hotel's.
Kami lang pamilya at iilang piling guests kasama na ang Pamilya ni CJ ang naimbitahan para dito. Ang mga parents namin ay aalis din mamaya for some business, kasama ang mga magulang ni CJ at ibang mga business clients kaya ang mga anak nalang nila ang maiiwan dito. Magchi-check out kami bukas ng gabi after dinner.
"Eros." I called my Brother and get my douche bag from him when I enter the room with him and Rayi. The three of us will share. It's Mommy's idea since they use this Hotel for daily basis and there are guests that are occupying the other floors while the 12th floor is only for the invitees.
"Baby akin na bag mo. Ako na mag-aayos." Eros said as he arranged Rayi's belongings.
"Ate, magsi-swimming po tayo later?" She's 16. She's definitely still a baby.
"Yes, baby. You'll wear your bikini or rash guard? Anong ilalabas ko dito?" I asked as I scanned her things.
"Swimsuit ba Ate, pwede?" She's liberated. Nasanay siya kila ate Syd at Aika.
"Yup. Which one? Blue or Black?" Tanong ko habang hawak amg dalawang swimsuit ni Rayi.
"Blue one, ate. Thanks. Oh- kuya CJ texted." She said a handed me my phone. But Eros swiftly stole the phone from Rayi's hands. Hinayaan ko na siya at nagpatuloy nalang na ayusin ang mga gamit ni Rayi.
"The party is awesome. Sleepwell, Erin. Thank you for tonight." Eros read out loud CJ's message.
"Nosy. Ang pakialamero mo, ha. Mind your own business nga." I said as I stood up and get my phone from his hands.
rxzxnerinathena: yup. Thank you rin. Hindi ka sasama sa swimming later? May mga anak yung mga business partners nila Daddy na kasama later.
clvlljrszobel: pag-isipan ko. Not in the mood to swim. Tsaka may liquors for sure.
rxzxnerinathena: same. Not in the mood as well. 10 PM na din, eh. Baba ka nalang kung pupunta ka ha. Bababa na rin kami. :)))
"Ate, I'm prepared na. You can change."
I took a half bath and removed everything on my face.
I wore a simple green cropped top na off shoulder and white denim shorts with my beige flip-flops. Nagdala na lang din ako ng light green windbreaker in case na malamig mamaya.
"Hindi ka maliligo? Bakit ganyan soot mo?" Tanong ni Eros na naka-upo sa sofa while playing on his phone.
"Not in the mood." I answered and went to braid Rayi's hair.
"Thank you, ate." She said as I put pins to secure her braid.
"Tapos na kayo? Tara na." Eros said as he locked the door of our room. Inakbayan niya si Rayi while he held my hand.
Pinindot ko ang button pababa sa pool area. Namataan ko ang mga pinsan ko at ibang mga tao. Wala na ang mga matatanda dahil sa meeting nila. The only ones left here are their sons and daughters.
Wala pa ang mga pinsan kong babae kaya dumiretso ako sa tahimik na side ng pool kung saan may sand chairs.
I scanned my phone at ipinatong ang windbreaker ko sa side table. I itched my legs as I feel the mosquitoes.
"Oh." CJ glanced as he put my jacket in my legs and covered it. He's wearing a green shirt and a white board shorts. Nagmukha kaming nag-usap.
"Thank you. Kala ko di ka bababa?" I said as I sipped on my iced tea.
"Boring, eh. Wala rin kapatid mo rito. 'Bat ganyan soot mo?" Takang tanong niya.
"Hindi ako magsi-swimming."
"Hi, CJ!" Ngiti ng isang babae na familiar. I think she's from the college of Engineering.
"Hi. Do I know you?" Direktang tanong ni CJ.
The girl is obviously hitting on him. Manhid ba siya? I mean - she's beautiful and sexy! Go na 'yan!
"Uh- no. I'm Clarise, by the way." She extended her hands pero tinanguan lang siya ni CJ. Jerk!
"Huy." Siko ko sa kanya dahil mukhang napahiya na ang babae.
He extended his hands. Napa-ngiti naman ang babae sa ginawa ni CJ. What do we expect from a basketball captain?
"You want a drink or something? My parents aren't here." Tanong ng babae.
I see. She's trying to prove a point. I can't blame her. I mean- CJ is a drop dead gorgeous man! "No. I don't drink." He said and typed something on his phone, still, the girl was sitting beside the sand chair he's lying on.
Tama 'yan Ate. Consistency is the key!

Natawa ako sa paghingi ng tulong ni CJ. He's not into girls, I see.
"Uh- Eros, Daddy just texted. Nag-bilin daw Daddy mo. Nasa notepad daw. Nakalimutan sabihin."
I know it's lame but it's the only thing that came up on my mind.
"Samahan moko?" He asked. Tumango na ako para agad na rin siyang maka-takas sa babae.
Nasundan nalang kami ng tingin ng Engineering Student.
"Gosh, CJ. Nakaka-stress." I said as we went out of the sight from the girl.
"I know, right. Gan'on talaga 'pag gwapo."
"E kung ibalik kita don ng makita mo?" Banta ko.
"Joke lang! Thanks."
"Oh, ano na gagawin natin ngayon? Stare at the floor as if there's no tomorrow?"
"May- may rooftop 'to?" He suddenly asked.
"Meron, siyempre. Aakyat ka?"
"Sana. Tara? Gusto ko makakita ng stars." He said.
"Malamig doon. Ay speaking of- naiwan ko yung windbreaker ko doon!" Gulat na sabi ko.
"Ako na kukuha." He said as he swiftly went back to the pool area. Nag-mukha tuloy kaming fool sa harap 'nung babae dahil bumalik nanaman si CJ doon. I hope she won't see him nalang. "Oh." Abot niya sa jacket ko.
Pumunta na kami sa elevator para umakyat sa rooftop ng Hotel. Hindi na namroblema si CJ sa jacket niya dahil may dala rin siyang windbreaker. Athletes has a lot of these, sponsored eh.
Hindi lang jackets, may shoes, shorts. Madalas din na may mga essentials for workouts and energy drinks. Madalas din ang foods.
"Alam mo kung bakit maganda 'yung stars?" He asked as we sit on the sand chair. Nag-iisa nalang ang sand chair dito dahil binaba na lahat kaya nag-share nalang kami.
"Why?"
"Because it proves that at the end of the day, there's still a bright something that awaits. The brightness of the stars gives up hope and light. Light that will serve as our guide during our darkest days." He said as he showed his tender eyes.
"That's why there's something else beyond the skies. Skies not the limit. There's still something else- the world beyond that peaceful stars and moon."
I sighed with my thought.
There's no ending. The sky even has it's own limit. But the world beyond that doesn't, and it lies in our hearts.
